Sign this petition so that Google and RIAA will stop trying to take down this sites. It's enough that Megaupload was taken down and the files were never returned, but now they want to practically shut them all down. Also, the websites are completely legal this time but they still want to shut them down.

I already sent out formal letters of complaint to Youtube and several lawyers that have been hired telling them to, in essence, use what brain cells they have left to consider what it is they're actually fighting against.

People like to resist progress, don't they?

being honest those sites are not really legal. they take the songs out of the videos so you can listen to them on your phone, mp3 players and so on. but how exactly is that legal? did you pay the artist of the song? no so it is basically the same as downloading the song by using a torrent. unless the artist explicitly said its allowed then it is illegal. and what you are doing by signing that petition is basically admitting to having used that service you are basically setting yourself up a date with a judge in your nearest court house...

be smart ppl

@Rajyrr what sort of progress do you talk about? cyber fraud, cyber theft? because this is the same as copying a dvd it is piracy. but people have grown too accustomed to getting everything for free online. things are changing for the good. why should you be allowed to get it for free? when it costs money to produce and market. the fair thing would be to pay something for what you get. but no you all claim to want to protect your rights but have you all ever stopped to think that the artists have rights too? copyrights. what would you do if you invented something and someone else stole the idea and made lots of money with it leaving you broke?
