And I suppose my answer would be London. The weather suits me, the food sucks, and it reeks of history. But most of all, Londoners speak and write the English language so beautifully.

London, for the same reasons! If not, Tokyo would also be a good choice (mainly for the food), though I'd also love to travel to the different cities around Japan. Would love any city with a rich history, beautiful architectures and lots of museums! Although I do prefer colder countries to warmer ones.

You believe everything you hear.

On topic: I'd move to Tokyo, preferably in Nihonbashi-Hamachou. Kind of expensive but if you saw the place you'd know it was worth it.

no i dont believe everything i hear and why do you think that? i looked up many videos of gaijin's in japan being refused service, insulted and even thrown rocks at and their are even videos where the people are getting insulted by the japansese and called "white pigs" . Look up "racism in japan" and you'll see what i mean, dont think that i believe everything that i hear just because you want to believe that japan is a fairy tale

wouldn't it be easier to say if you could go (teleport like in jumper) to any city in the world which city would you go to?

your train of thought is flawed. if you could move any city? are you assuming only you can do that in that alternate/parallel universe bubble of yours?

what would happen if more than 2-3 ppl decide to move x city closer to them?

if you are going to pose a question based on fantasy at least make it logical. or was logic not part of the equation when you thought of that? or are you a god on that alternate universe? that you can arbitrarily move around cities closer to you?

theres no such thing as flaws in imagination,

I've been to Japan and I never experienced anything like that. Nobody threw rocks at anyone and nobody refused me service. And I can speak Japanese pretty good so I'd know if someone was calling me names. So, yeah, you apparently do believe everything you hear.

In his defense, while I believe it's certainly unlikely a foreigner would experience such blatant racism, especially if they're just visiting, I have seen legitimate videos showing some of the things he was describing, so it's not like everything he wrote was made up . But, like I said, it's probably very rare and shouldn't prevent anyone from visiting Japan if they want to go.

If we look at this objectively there appears to be video of the action, but is there any other videos of what might have caused it. There's two sides to every story and we're getting only one. My personal experience having been in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Hiroshima and Yokohama is that the Japanese are very friendly and welcoming. If anything they WANT people to visit.

My other experience is that French tourists can eat shit and die, nobody threw rocks at them but maybe they should have.

Most likely somewhere where I'm able to be away from all of the hustle and bustle. Perhaps Croatia.

You saw a video, and it most likely wasn't a complete telling of that situation. Go there, see for yourself before making statements like this.

How about you link it.

I've been there and what you're saying is wrong. Besides, if there's a club that doesn't let foreigners in that's their right. We have private clubs here in NY too, doesn't mean we're being discriminatory, just means it's a private club.

I suggest you listen to this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0A6n1xcWpE

not letting people in simply because they are foreigners is discrimination not a private club. because they do let japanese people go in without the need for anything else like a membership card and most likely asians in general too without any hassle.

in their defense i would say this was caused by military men in japan causing trouble when drunk. and they stereotyped all foreigners as rowdy, disrespectful and so on. but it is discrimination. do they have a reason to feel that way? yes, we dropped a few nukes on them so i would venture to say they still hate our guts for it.

if the sign said members only then it could be said to be non discriminatory. but it does not so it is flagrant discrimination.
