I've been holding off using that 2-week free premium membership, waiting for the right time to use it. I think that time is now.

Again meaningless announcement. I always wonder why copyright-holders are so highly set on promoting fansubs, rather then selling their products

This is a sublicense from NIS America, and thus since NIS America only has a presence in North America, that is why it's North America only. If NISA starts to cooperate more with Crunchyroll like Sentai, maybe this could change. The stream here is also to promote Ano Hana on DVD.

I definitely intend to watch all 11 episodes although I'll probably space it out a little. Maybe this may convince me to buy it when I wasn't considering it before this announcement.

This was a pretty good series, Almost perfect.

Overall it was great, but believability felt a bit stretched in the later episodes with the way all the characters just seem to "accept" the supernatural-ness of it all. And the last episode started veering off a little too much into melodramatic territory IMHO.

Ultimately it is in the same class as "Clannad". One of those "It could've been an all time classic piece of entertainment"...and not just in anime circles. And just like "Clannad", with just a bit of tweaking it could've been perfect & super awesome, but as it is it's still super good. May rewatch it here.

Thx CR!!

well I was crying buckets in the end ..

I like anime with stories about friendship that evoke real feelings. Some people don' care about those but for me if the acting supports the story to the point that it feels real and moving for me that is the key to a very good anime. This one has those quality. These are anime that you will remember when time passes.

The animation is pretty good too.
