well first of all, i would grab my sword. in my opinion, it is the best weapon in the apocalypse. i have swords positioned in places i'm at a lot in case of emergency. then, i would steal a car and go pick up my official zombie apocalypse parter (i know lol) then we would probably go to some kind of good shelter with lots of food. we would go out and kill zombies near there during the day (for safety.)
i'm talking about if they were slow and dumb zombies though. if the zombies were anything like they are in the walking dead, i would swallow a grenade in seconds.

Well it's not that he thinks a zombie apocalypse is about to start that surprises me. It's not that he picks a sword as the best weapon. It's the fact that he has a girlfriend.
Some advice... head to your local Walmart and barricade yourself there. That store has about everything you need.

Does anyone actually think that even if zombies existed, the military wouldn't deal with them easily? They move around slowly and don't use weapons.
But anyway, let's ignore all of that for a second. I own some guns of my own and live in a rural area so I'd do okay in the short term. Then I'd take my truck or something to Alaska and hide out for the rest of my life. Problem pretty much solved. |

If the zombies can hear, you will only attract more. The more you attract, the more you must shoot, thus causing a cycle of zombie attraction that only ends once you are defenseless. Of course, who knows what senses zombies would have. I'm guessing they would specialize in sight. Just think if they could track living things through scent. Nobody would survive. So you should really be afraid of a zombie dog apocalypse. I guess many wild carnivores would also work. Swords would be a bad idea unless you've had training. Depending on your strength, a bludgeoning weapon might be a better choice. Knives would be stupid because as a small weapon, they don't have the killing power or the range of a larger weapon.
Regardless of the zombies' senses, guns would be a bad choice unless you have an infinite ammo cheat. So if you're going with guns, just be sure to have a backup weapon.
