Hmm... This is actually something I think about often, in various different ways so I can't really come up with a type of 'plan' or it'd be much too lengthy. So, here's a shorter version as to what I'd think to carry. One and/or the other.


Melee: Shaolin Spade (Or a halberd of some kind) for needing nothing but still with the distance or ground cover that I assume most would want some firearm for.


Firearms: Although I have much in mind, I'll have to go with the trusty AK-47.

first instinct would be to gather some supplies and find a farm- they're a fair distance from big cities which means less people, and there'd be seeds for crops. if there's no one there i'll probably just stay there, but if there is i'll try and get some seeds for crops from them and go elsewhere, since i wouldn't want to cause them trouble

after that I'd probably just get as far away from civilisation as possible and try to make some sort of makeshift home in the middle of nowhere (or maybe i could steal a caravan from somewhere beforehand??? idk how that'd work out though since i can't hotwire anything.) somewhere near a natural water source and some open land would be a good idea if i'm planning on growing my own crops

there aren't exactly a lot of weapon dealers where i live, so for a weapon i'd probably use something lying around the house (like that gigantic metal stick we use to lower the ladder to the attic), but i'm useless in a fight so i don't think having a weapon would be of much use, except for my own peace of mind

this is all assuming that i don't have a mental breakdown and kill myself which is VERY LIKELY I CANT IMAGINE ID BE GOOD IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS.
