This is more of a blanket statement, but here goes: You can't really change people to be sexually attracted to you when clearly, they are NOT. Also, going through the dating rituals is part of life. My parents have stayed together for nearly 30 years, with a majority of those years married. Dating rituals are part of the work in a relationship. Once you get to a certain point, you got to keep going in a relationship. When you get married, and I'm not saying that you'll find the perfect person of your dreams, but you will come close seeing as a perfect human would take away from a god's\goddess's status as a supernatural being, YOU CANNOT GIVE UP and say "I want a divorce" when the going gets tough! A marriage is about working towards happiness with each other, not to please yourself.

Wow, I'm starting to sound like my father, who once took a comment on my idea of a perfect man as a joke. I said "I want a man who can cook and bake, is sensitive, has a sense of humor and kind to the environment" to which he said "You just described a gay man." I said "I was talking about you, stupid!" I felt really hurt when my father said that. A lot of girls imagine their dream spouse to resemble the people they grew up with.
