Dusk Maiden licensing?

Two days ago I was catching up on Dusk Maiden of Amnesia on CR with the final episode just released a few days ago. Suddenly it's "not licensed in my region."

Why the sudden change? Isn't it possible to give some warning when licensing is about to be yanked? Or has there been an error somewhere?

Did you try logging out and logging back in? Sometimes Crunchyroll mis-recognizes what region you are in.

Saw the error on my PS3 originally, confirmed on PC, then logged out+in and it's still missing.

While I am in Australia, the original CR news release to ANN listed Australia as one of the licensed markets.

Still missing for you? I've just checked and it's loading properly for me as an Australian.

Still failing to load.

Reverse lookup on my IP shows xx-xx-xx-xx.dyn.iinet.net.au. I suspect an error in CR's IP geotagging service. *Some* series work, but not that one. The CC that CR have on record was also issued by an Australian bank.

Does CR have anywhere that you can look up where they *think* you are?

I note you are the second person in the past day that seems to be having a problem with geolocation that logging out and back in hasn't fixed.

As I recall, CR used to show a flag next to your username that showed the country the website identified you were in, but I don't know of any indicator now.

On this theory (i.e. broken IP geotagging) I turned my ADSL line off for twenty minutes to get a new IP address.

The show is now fully visible. Problem solved.

It's possible CR fixed it at the same time, but given the interval of around 16 hours where it wasn't fixed, it seems more likely that I was reassigned an address that CR thinks is in the right region.
