Personally I'm glad women are shallow.

unlike men of course

The world is full of tragedy and horror. Our social and economic systems ensure copious amounts of suffering and starvation.

But what do we care about?

Sex.

Not gonna happen to me!
I dress to plain like a polo and jeans with some nice kicks
i don't walk around ballin showing my cash.
Plus when i'm single i like to hobo out so whenever someone talks to me
i know they're really intrested in who i really am lol.
plus girls who only want money are stupid and should just go be a stripper
you'll find all the dudes who will pay for chicks there.

I wouldn't date a guy just because of money. I can't stand borrowing or taking money from people, or having them buy me things- unless it's something very small, like a bottle of water, which I'd probably pay them back for anyway. I hate the feeling of 'owing' someone, and I wouldn't be happy in a relationship where I'd be feeling that all the time.

That said, I would prefer to date someone who at least has their own source of income. It's not absolutely imperative for me (especially since I'm not looking to settle down/ start a family yet), but I don't want to end up feeling like I'm being used.

I think a more appropriate question would be: could you love a poor bastard that doesn't have a dime in his bank account?

I don't think any girl will openly admit to dating a guy for his money. But all you have to do is beat around the bush a bit, like so...
What do you look for in a guy? Confidence? A sense of security? A person who has goals?

What this rougly translates into is: has a stable job, has money. Its a sad fact that even girls might be oblivious to.

And yes, I'm bitter much. >.>

This. I would think when your young it doesnt matter. As you get older though money becomes more a priority. Stability.

I mean im a guy so cant really speak for you ladies but from my perspective if you met up with a great looking guy when your 20 and find out he barely has enough money to put food in his mouth. You wouldnt even care because you dont even think of the future.
Same guy and situation though but now your 30. You turn up at his mams house and get to check out his bedroom. Your gunna be like.. Well you tell me? Cant imagine your thinking relationship.

If you date a guy for his money, it's a justified prostitution.

Well, I guess I'm just different? I guess it's because I grew up in a house with men; so I don't think like women sometimes.

Money isn't everything, I could love a poor guy. However, having income could show that the person's responsible and can care for themselves, and possibly a family in the future. I hate depending in people for anything, especially money. I prefer to earn my own.
