Preview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeHLuPyRFwQSynopsis Ryousuke gets a part-time job at a florist so he can pursue his crush for the owner, Rokka. Little does he know, she's still grieving for the loss of her husband, Shimao. Ryousuke is shocked to discover that he can see Shimao, and that Shimao won't give up Rokka. How can Ryousuke pursue his love in this situation? Other Information Type: TV Producers: Dogakobo, Fuji TV, Toho Company, Sentai FilmworksL, Sony Music Entertainment Genres: Drama, Romance, Supernatural, Josei Streaming on CR: http://www.crunchyroll.com/natsuyuki-rendezvous Impressions Two episodes in, and the ghostly love triangle is well established. There are some nice comedic bits centered around Shimao's antagonism with Ryousuke. Plus, there are some nice dramatic flashbacks developing Rokka's loss of Shimao. I like the show a lot. It is totally about the characters, and how they deal with loss. It will be interesting to see if and how Rokka learns about Shimao's ghost. In fact, the show reminds me greatly of the movie Always. If you liked that movie, or the original A Guy Named Joe, then you'll definitely like this anime. One other thing: Rokka's character design reminds me too much of Rikko from "Kids on the Slope". I keep thinking, poor Rikko has no luck in love. |

Meh, the second episode killed it or me. Looks just like another bad Josei romance series now.
Urgh, *Kids on the Slope* I was so disappointed with that series as well. : < |

Dude that ghost guy needs to get the fuck out. He's so damn childish! He always gets in the way when tht other guy tries to talk to the girl. I mean seriously? He needs to move on already, instead of keeping watch over her. It's so annoying. Then again, if he weren't there, then there wouldn't be much of a story, & that could get boring. |

Pretty interested in marathon this series once it finished airing. I know Noitamina can pull out some pretty neat stuff out of their hats so I'm hoping this will be one of them.

Uhm, I think it makes sense that he wouldn't want his wife to be with another person. He loved her you know. Moving on is no where near as easy as you think it is. He would atleast need to be able to accept Ryosuke first, and know that Rokka is happy. |

A very nice start, although the whole
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide "no blanket=cold" I know others agree that we need more Josei shows like this over here. I get tired of high school aged romances. It was very refreshing to hear an adult woman, Rokka, admit Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide she might look forward to having sex with Ryousuke. |

It's nice to see a show that handles romance in a more mature manner. I know it won't work for everyone, but that's a good thing. Variety is the spice of life, after all. |

wait a minute, thought there is a thread for this already.
Anyway .... IT IS JOSEI . It is from a Josei manga. My two favorite seiyuu Jun Fukuyama and Nakamura are in this. And Jun's ghost character is indeed annoying ha ha ha but I think he is somewhat stuck there until his wife will say out loud that you can move on but she has no clue he has been there with her.She might change her mind. I actually liked the interaction of the two men a lot. It reminds me of the other anime Jun did, Eve no Jikan . I like the way the conversation was recorded in that anime. I guess when you have a love one who passed away and this anime could make you feel sad indeed. I cried my eyes out with AnoHana but so far I dont feel it in this one yet. A half naked ghost , well that's something I wouldn't think of ha ha ha h |

So far this is very good. There were a couple of clunkers in this 2nd episode (the no-blanket=bad cold thing that others have mentioned and the "I'm such a flippin' idiot that I am going to talk to a ghost that the woman who I am on top of on the floor can't see and say something derogatory about her dead husband out-loud" moment.) But the show has a fun sensibility and could be a good story.

I like it so far too, mostly for the same reason many fans like it - it's an adult romance for a change! Sure, it has other plot devices that have been done to death but at least it has that going for it.
Ryosuke has a way of making me cringe in embarrassment at least once an episode so far. He really needs to think about what is coming out of his mouth before he speaks. But the awkwardness that follows kind of makes the situation more believeable. I'm following this one. |

No Sailor Moon this summer? Boo.

I agree, for a ghost comedy it is surprisingly realistic, blankets and colds notwithstanding...

Good episode this week! I actually feel bad for all the characters at this point, they have got one rough situation to deal with. I thought at least one of them would be getting on my nerves by now, but it hasn't happened yet. More please!
