i am very outgoing. always been this way. in highschool i was the guy who was friends with everybody and its the same here in college now. I was always was and still am the typical jock, but for some reason i've always been attracted to shy girls because well when they finally do talk to you, they may not say much HOWEVER the things they say are usually more intriguing and fascinating than what others have to say. this is just my own personal experience of course

Shy is not the same as introverted. I think very shy girls should get some social skills to survive in the modern world. I learned from experience

Haha, I think shy girls are okay, but yeah it can end up awkward. I'm a typical shy girl myself, and I've always been mocked at school for being way too quiet and ended up being called "quiet girl". I dont really bother tho. In most cases I'm just not interested talking with the people who talk to me, and just answer with a short sentence.

It annoys me more when girls who are quiet as fuck irl, and still complains online that they hate shy/quiet girls, haha. Its not fun to be shy, but it still doesn't give anyone the right to hate you just because you have a shy personality.

Agree~ I'm also a quiet girl who sits alone T^T and not necessarily mocked but looked down on because I don't say much. I only speak when others speak to me or to my friends. Thinking again, how did I make friends if I usually didn't speak to anyone? XD
I also tend to talk bluntly and that kinda makes conversations awkward when I trying to talk to people...
It's not that I don't want to talk to people, I just cant seem to make things interesting and I'm pretty much weird so...
I try though, try to keep conversations as long as possible but it always ends with silence or constant staring

I reckon people shouldn't hate who they are. But it does seem a little abnormal to hate shy girls or go biased on them if they are one as well. I guess it's the society that makes them pressured not to admit that they're a shy quiet introverted girl, so they say they hate them when they are one themselves

Are you talking about me? Nah, joking. I naturally start conversations with people easily, but I can be quiet in a completely new environment. Like when I went for interview last week, I was self-conscious about how I look, because naturally I don't really bother about how I look. I just throw random things together and go out whenever I think I've covered enough skin.

They don't creep me out though. Don't matter if they're girls or boys. In fact, I think their shyness is quite adorable.

Shy girls don`t bother me, it`s the people that are usually friendly with everyone that I get suspicious about. With that being said, I wouldn`t consider myself a shy person (at least compared to how I was when I was younger anyways); I can keep up or a start a conversation just fine. I tend to be blunt either way. I consider myself to be more of an introvert, because I would rather keep to myself with only a fair share of social interaction than have a big circle of friends. Being forced into an uncomfortable situation -- such as speaking in front of a crowd -- is what leaves me to hide in my shell. I also need a lot of time to myself, since socializing to a very high degree tend to stress me out. (〃 ̄ω ̄〃ゞ

what to think about very very shy girls..?? they are all different right .. so no real opinion about that/them ..I just don't like it when people speak too softly and for some reason can't really raise their volume after asking them to repeat it

That's very understandable, considering that for many people, they rate the fear of public speaking quite literally worse than the fear of dying, when asked to rank what they fear most. They felt they would prefer to be dead on the spot, than to be put on the spot. That response applied for both men and women.

I usually find them adorable. With shy girls you can actually build up a proper friendship/relationship over time.
