I have the increasing feeling that the governments are turning theyr backs to us. Before, when they needed tax money from the Tobacco Inustry it was cool to smoke, but now they need votes for theyr campaigns to gain even more power and are going in a line with those "health" freaks. I mean i am aware of being addicted to smokeable substances, like cigarettes and cigars, and i am also aware of theyr destructive consequenses for me and ppl around me,...
BUT! i still have no intentions to live more than 60 years or so, and the time i spend living i wanna enjoy,....

so lets talk about the sweet blue haze
-whats your favourite brand?
-how long do you smoke?
-woould you like to quit?
-just state your mind on this topic :)

AND I HAVE NO INTENTIONS TO MISLEAD YOUNGERS INTO SMOKING!

I'm the first member of the club!!!!woot!

The brands i smoke are camel and davidoff

i started smoking regularly at 16...i'm going to die early too...i'm with you!! **high five

Even though I enjoy smoking especially at stressful times, I would like to quit some day.

And if the taxes keep increasing, I will have to smoke less anyways!

Brand? Marlboro Lights
Length? For 10 years
Quit? I would love to. I tried once and my wife said she would leave me is I was that much of an asshole ever again.

Well being that I am going into a health related field, I feel like a hypocrite being a smoker. I enjoy smoking...a lot, but I know how terrible it is. I want to quit badly but i get crazy w/o my cigarettes. I wish they could just make a cigarette that didn't kill you. lol

i enjoy a cigar every know and then... usually cohiba, but only when i'm overseas.

i smoke occasionally when i drink. it's pretty rare. i average about a pack a year. i usually smoke lucky strikes when i do, or if i can't get those, then something menthol (usually Camels).

I smoked the first cigarette when I was 9 I think, but I didn't really start before 12. I have no intention to quit, but I don't know what to do if they forbid smoking even in clubs and pubs. I can't drink without smoking, they are brother drugs

The government has been increasing taxes, saying it's to make people quit, but by the end of the year it turned out they were disappointed, because they really expected an extra few million by increasing the taxes, not people actually quitting
Oh and today they forbid smoking in the school's cafetaria.

It's a hardnock life for us

In austria some polititians wanna forbid smoking in the entire country, and thats not enough they also wanna increase the tax rates on "snacks"(crisps and sweets) to prevent cancer and obesity :O they wanna kill the tobacco AND snack industry, whos gonna pay the billions of € taxes in exchange of these lobbies? us the normalo-citizens would have topay more taxes and work harder to fill the financial vacuum that would appear! i mean i do want a healthy enviroment for my beloved ppl, but with what money they wanna run the country, these eco-freaks.

I think smoking is terrible. It's your choice to smoke, I just wish people would be more considerate towards those they smoke around. If I'm even walking in front of someone that is smoking I start to hurt. Stupid asthma. (or could it be my allergies?) idk. Ruins my day.

Yea, I feel exact same way
Clubs and bars where I live now don't allow smoking, so I plan to move soon....
