The Dark Woods... a very haunting place at night. What used to be a lush forest is now in shambles. Many villagers work on the restoration of the beauty in these woods, but a life taken away so easily cannot be brought back. Plus, many have discontinued their work... the rumors of children disappearing after wandering too far in these woods have made many weary. Some say a circus is set up deep in these woods currently, could it have something to do with the vanishing children?

The circus is hard to find with out an invitation showing you directions. Try to find it on your own and you'll get lost in no time. If you do get to travel to the circus, be ready for mystical lights and an ominous tent, beckoning you to enter. There may be shadows lurking behind you, so beware. You never know if they are trying to harm you in any way... and if you hear screams from the tent, just take it as cheers for a performance!

Do you dare visit the Dark Woods and it's Circus?

Role play in the woods/circus here.

JUN - я ι η g м α ѕ т є я
WHERE: Ringmaster's tent WHEN: Evening WHO: Annoying girl MOOD: Irritated
✶ Deep, deep in the heart of the forest, there you'll find that circus with it's ringmaster, wide-eyed and 10 meters tall

J U N stared coldly into the young girl's eyes as he wrapped the fingers of his right hand around her neck, adding pressure each second, making her squirm and release tiny whimpering noises. "You... are you speaking back to me?" He spat, clutching her throat with more intensity. The girl's eyes widened, her face beginning to turn a reddish purple color as the seconds grew. "I am the Ringmaster, you see. I fail to understand how you cannot comprehend. I will tell you again. Tomorrow, your act is up. I want you to practice until morning comes. Do. You. Understand?" He slightly released his grip, letting the girl gasp for air. She managed a small nod, and Jun completely let go of her mangled neck with satisfaction. She fell to her feet, heaving, tears splashing the dirty ground before her. Jun smiled, his past anger turning into joyfulness. He knelt down to her, brushing her brunette strands behind her ear before he put his lips to it. "Much better, my dear. Now, go practice with the others. Okay?" He whispered, making the young girl's bones shutter. She nodded once again, then shakily rose, her head hanging down in defeat.
He watched triumphantly as she exited his tent, her sobs muffled. The girl dared to tell him she didn't want to perform. This was his circus, he was the Ringmaster, yet his performers seemed to disregard that fact. They always whined and screamed (and oh, how he hated the screams) about how much it hurt, how much they missed their family, how much they wanted to die. He was giving them the opportunity of a lifetime, to participate in the Dark Woods. Yet, they were so ungrateful of his kindness.
He lifted his head as the tent's flaps opened, revealing the one person who did appreciate him. His companion and assistant, Sera, stared at him with her empty, pale blue eyes, seeming tiny and fragile in her little wheelchair. He nodded, giving her permission to enter and then rose, walking to his desk, sighing loudly as he collapsed in his chair and then began to twirl around in it. "How glad I am to see you Sera."
Sera's eyes flickered with worriment. "Is something wrong?" She asked in a quiet voice as she wheeled towards him. In response, Jun vaguely sighed heavily once more, shaking his head.
"What did you need me for?"
Sera cocked her head at him. "Ah... a performer is... being problematic."
Jun grunted. If it was another ungrateful crying about this and that, he was going to go ballistic. And no one would want that, now would they? "Can't you handle it?" He said, pleading to her in a whiny voice like a little child.
Sera shook her head. "No, Jun. It's your Angel. Her wings are needing of... tweaking."

SERA - α ѕ ѕ ι ѕ т α η т
WHERE: Outside Ringmaster's tent WHEN: Evening WHO: Jun MOOD: Content
Does anyone wish that I were alive, so undesirable I am in this body? I want to die, I want to die

S E R A noticed the heat pounding on her bare skin was now turning cold, the sun was retreating and the night was coming. That would mean that the day of their first performance in the new village was almost upon them, and the poor children had to work from dusk to dawn practicing. But what mattered more was that Jun had to be very exhausted from the extra operating he had to do to those who tried to run away before the performance came. She'd hate to bother him at such a time, but a wench needed his attention.
She wheeled faster in her wheelchair, listening to the crunching of the leaves on the ground that lead towards Jun's tent. She didn't know why he insisted on putting her in such a deathly mechanical contraption, if anything he was the one who needed it, with all the surgery he has to do on his legs that make him weak in that area. He just always told her he loved to race her around in it, although she knew that he was just worried. When he did things like that, it made her believe that his twisted mind was finally reverting back to when he was a child with her.
As she got closer to the tent, her ears tuned in to what seemed to be Jun's voice, it was getting louder and louder as she approached... it seemed he was... angry? Yelling at someone? She stopped wheeling rapidly and snuck to the opening of the tent, listening to what was going on. There was a girl's voice with his, she seemed to be whimpering, as if in pain. Immediately her thoughts began to go on the wilder side.
That little wench! How dare she... she...She clenched her teeth at the thought. She was about to interrupt when she heard Jun's voice.
"You... are you speaking back to me?"

At this, Sera's teeth began to relax again. He was just... lecturing someone. Nothing impure. Her face got hot, embarrassed in thinking he'd do such a thing to a lowly performer...
Sera waited quietly outside the tent, waiting for Jun to send the girl out. My, he was angry. This girl must have been really rude in order to make Jun lose the regular joyful air around him. Suddenly, Sera's ears perked to the sound of the tent's flaps opening and the sobs of the disgruntled girl. Serves her right. She thought, before focusing her attention on Jun once more. She must comfort him. It was her job as his... assistant.
She opened the tent flaps and stared at Jun, who was kneeling on the ground. He nodded to her before going to his desk and sitting in his chair, twirling around in it like a child rather than someone almost to their mid-twenties. "How glad I am to see you, Sera."
He said, a hint of melancholy in his voice. Wasn't he just angry? Sera's eyes flickered with worriment, and she asked him what was wrong, like she didn't know. If he knew she was eavesdropping he'd get angry at her, probably thinking she always spied on him... which she didn't, of course!
In response, Jun just shook his had vaguely and sighed. He always did this to her, not telling her his problems just to make her not worry or not get mad. It made her happy inside, but on the outside she stayed composed and blank in the face.
"What did you need me for?"
"Ah... a performer is being... problematic."
She responded, a little worried that she'd cause him to be angry again.
Can't you handle it?"
He whined to her, once again like a child. She began to question his age mentality.
Of course she would love to handle it for him and let him rest, but the problem was the little troublemaker that he called 'Angel', because of the operation he had done to her. The little bitch was complaining about the pain from her falls as an aerial acrobatic. Sera of course, couldn't be mean to her... torture was Jun's job, and her's only secretly...
"No, Jun. It's your Angel. Her wings are needing of... tweaking." She explained. She watched as Jun's face became serious.
"But she's never a problem."
He said. Sera shrugged, becoming a little irritated when he grunted once again... how she hated seeing him disturbed. He deserved to be happy all the time... She'd have to deal with his little 'Angel', later.
Jun rose, sauntering lazily out of the tent, Sera wheeling from behind.

Anastasia ~ Performer
Location~ Circus Tent With~ Other performers (?) Feeling~ Frustrated

_____________________________________________________________________________

Anastasia scraped at the dirt with her nails in frustration, her shoulder throbbing. She was used to getting hurt. It happened all the time. Almost every show, actually. After having had several of her bones broken and too many fractures, bruises, and cuts to count she thought she would have been immune to the pain by now. Only a little while before she had been practicing her routine, binding her wrists, arms, and legs with the long cloth that hung from somewhere up in the rafters and using whatever strength she had to twirl and ‘fly’ through the air. It was because of her performances as an aerial acrobat and the wings that protruded from her back that she was given her nick-name, Angel. Strange how she could be called that. A creature that was supposed to represent something Holy and pure, while she continually fell and broke herself with her crooked wings for the entertainment of others. Angels had the power to help themselves and others. She was no angel. More like a twisted, attention-starved bird, stuck inside the circus that was her cage.
And now, her arm was forbidding her from practicing. Her fingers shook, fearing what Sera might tell the Ringmaster and what her punishment would be. Maybe if she could get back to practicing before they arrived, he would go back to his quarters? With this bit of hope she hauled herself to her feet and wrapped each hand around the two strong strips of cloth that had been dangling behind her. However, as she pulled herself up, pain tore through her shoulder and she crumpled back to the ground, giving a low groan of agitation and distress. She glanced around at the others who were practicing, but they seemed to pay her no mind as they were working on their own routines. Her fingers traced the edge of her mask half-mindedly as she stood back up, eyeing the cloth and wondering if she should try again. A sharp throb from her shoulder told her that that wasn't an option. At least, not now. The skin around the edge of her mask was slightly swollen, probably from her fall. "Oh geez..." she murmured, putting her hand back to her side.

Seiren ~ Tamer
Location~ Circus Tent With~ Near Anastasia Feeling~ Bored

_____________________________________________________________________________

Seiren watched from the sidelines of the circus tent for what seemed like the one-hundredth time in the three months he was at the circus. As of yet, he had not much in a way of an act, but made clear what his position was-- Tamer. As a tamer he was charged with training and using animals for the many shows, and his skills as a veterinarian allowed him to keep care of them outside the shows. He wasn't particularly talented enough to do anything else, but he knew that if he were to take it easy too much he would be punished again. He still wasn't exactly sure what kind of dangerous animals he would be working with, but he had seen a few horses and a cage of monkeys-- one monkey missing it's left-hand. Horses he could deal with at the very least.

His red-eyes gazed across the tent as he tried his best to think of what he could do with them. As he remained still in thought, he caught the sight of a female performer wearing a mask who was having trouble doing much of anything, and knew from just the sight of it that she was too injured to practice. He did not pay much attention to the individual performers before this day, but from the creepy, disgusting wings coming out of her back he knew her by an nickname-- Angel. He stared at her as she fell to the ground, and paid attention to her combined injuries. He knew that if he got hurt, no one would help him and everyone probably expected the same. As he grew up, no one had ever helped him after his parents died and he hated people for it. He did not want to be the same as the selfish, greedy humans that he knew, but his hate was still strong enough to slow him for a few minutes. Getting up with a bit of a hop, he walked over to Anastasia.

"Isn't there any other ways to practice, Angel." he said quietly as he glanced down at her sharply, his left arm hidden behind his back to hide his monkey hand. "Not that it is my business to say anything."

Anastasia ~ Performer
Location~ Circus Tent With~ Seiren Feeling~ Frustrated

_____________________________________________________________________________

Anastasia jumped slightly when she heard someone speaking behind her, though she quickly relaxed when she noticed it wasn't the Ringmaster's voice. She turned to partially face whoever had spoken. It took her a moment to register what he had said, but when she did, she only shook her head and tugged experimentally on the cloth with her left hand, furrowing her brow. "I'm not sure." she muttered, wondering why he was speaking with her. Most of the performers just left each other alone to deal with their own problems, and she herself was guilty of doing the same thing. Once in a while she'd try helping any new people, but it wasn't often that they actually listened to her. Why would they? For a brief moment she eyed Seiren, taking her hand away from the strip of cloth to place it on her shoulder instead. Wanting to take up the opportunity of a conversation, she almost asked what he planned to do with his performance, but instead she blurted out "You probably shouldn't be talking to me. If the Ringmaster comes, he'll think you're distracting me and..." Well, they both knew what would probably happen then. Still, she was grateful for the gesture, even though he probably thought nothing of it.
Her gaze went up to the rafters where the cloths hung down. In a few hours she'd have to be up there performing. Maybe she could just improvise and possibly rest? It could be a torn muscle, and after a while she could go on, even if her shoulder was still sore. The audience would love to see her in pain, anyway. It'd probably just insure that she would fall more than usual. Even though her skills were improving, she still had a lot to learn.

(Bleh. Well I tried. XD)

Seiren ~ Tamer
Location~ Circus Tent With~ Anastasia Feeling~ Bored

_____________________________________________________________________________

"You are right. I really have no idea what I was thinking coming over here." he replied coldly, his eyes lacking much life in them.

Seiren lifted his right arm up and grabbed the back of his neck. He was also feeling pretty sore, but nothing like the others who had nearly destroyed their bodies to impress the ringmaster. At this point, he had nothing to lose except his own life, and even the injuries he received didn't matter all that much to him. Comfort was not something that he deserved, or something he would receive for the rest of his life-- however long that would be. He had already killed people, even if it was in self defense, this was his punishment. He blinked only once as he looked at Anastasia. The first instinct was to turn and walk away. Instead he stood there for a little while in silence, fully aware that his life was probably worthless to the ringmaster and he could be punished severely for distracting his performers. "I don't really care that much about you--" he continued with a straight face. "--But, you should rest for now. Destroying your body won't help anything, Angel."

❝ Nagito practiced all day for today's performance. She needs to be in top shape in order to complete her routine. She practices 4 hours each day, she needs everything to be perfect. When she got the order to perform in front of others she never messed up in any of her performances. She wants perfection the only thing she needs right now and the only thing she have now. When she got introduced to the Midnight Circus the Old Headmaster told her "All you need to do is perform in your best shape. No mishaps. No mistakes." The only order she was given by him. She have no way to go back even if she escape this Circus, but there is one thing for her to do find her Brother. Right now she needs to stay alive, if she perform and do what the Ringmaster say she will be save. She will not get hurt or yelled at, all she have to do is follow his orders and make it perfect. In order to stay alive, she may be able to find her Brother one day. All she needs to do now is Live, she cannot die yet. It's not her time to die, she cannot die. Her performance tonight will be splendid, it will be perfect. ❞
❝ Nagito finished her routine, she practiced for 4 hours straight. She looked around everyone is still practicing, she wonders about her performance. Will it be perfect? She will be the last one to perform, and she already knew what to do and practice for 4 hours. She wonder can she take a break? She looks around, not wanting to see the New Ringmaster. Wondering would he appear and scream at her? That never happened before after all she did everything perfectly even the Old Ringmaster never yelled at her. She follows orders and completes it perfectly. She would not tolerate anything else, no yelling, no screaming, no mockery. She hates getting disrespect and being humiliated. She would not accept such mockery before her, she practiced a bit more before she takes a break. She practiced for another hour. Finally the show will start soon, this time she will not fail. ❞

JUN - я ι η g м α ѕ т є я
WHERE: Performance Tent WHEN: Evening WHO: Sera, Angel MOOD: Trying to stay calm!
✶ Deep, deep in the heart of the forest, there you'll find that circus with it's ringmaster, wide-eyed and 10 meters tall

J U N looked back over his shoulder, seeing Sera struggle keeping up with his pace from behind. He stopped to take the handle of her wheelchair.
"Why do you insist to put me in this. I walk perfectly fine."
Sera huffed. Jun ignored her, he didn't care to explain, since he himself didn't know. It made him take a load off of worry for Sera knowing she wasn't charging into walls. He was also very, very tired, it had been a long day and he wanted sleep, he wanted to doze off and then wake up to a beautiful day of getting ready for the midnight show. But no, Anastasia just had to cause problems now and that made him cranky. Very cranky. If she didn't perform, some one of course would notice. She had been doing her act for a year, trying to float in the air like an angel on rope but failed horribly, always falling and making her self look idiotic. This of course, was all for the better. The more pain, the more the audience cheered. The more the audience cheered, the more money the circus gained, and with that more power over Terra's economy.
Jun's reverie was interrupted when Sera cleared her throat. "Hello? Jun, I'm talking to you."

"Ah, sorry Sera. Could you just stay quiet for a moment?" He said, rather harshly but with reason. If he talked right now he might say some unintentional mean things to her, meaning when he checked on Anastasia he could do some unintentional bodily harm...
Sera sighed, staying quiet as he wished. They approached the Performance Tent, not bothering to let any one know before they came busting in. He stared over each performer, making sure they practicing well, which they were. A few of them glanced at him but frantically looked away, as if he was some monster... but that was more of a compliment. He noticed one performer, in particular. The one he called Diamond for her tattoo... what a wonderful performer she was. Always following rules, always listening to him without question, and always, always enduring the pain. Unlike a little trouble maker he had to deal with now. Maybe she thought if she obeyed him, she'd be able to escape. Although Jun would never allow that, he would allow them to hope, for hope is all they had until they realized this was their perfect home now. He tried to connect eyes with her, smiling widely to show her his approval.
"Angel is over there, Jun." Sera spoke, pointing her tiny fingers over to where Anastasia was talking... talking to one of the performers. Immediately, Jun's smile disappeared and his anger fumed. How dare they? Every one was working so hard but them, chatting up a storm as if this was some place to just hang out. How... how disrespectful. "...Jun...?" Sera said as the pressure on the back of her wheelchair tightening, the culprit Jun's right hand.
Jun let go of the wheelchair and silently walked over to the two, trying to stay composed and orderly. "Oh, little broken Angel. May I ask what is going on here?"
He asked when he reached them with a forceful smile.

WHERE: Perfomance Tent WHEN: Evening WHO: Jun MOOD: Worried, worried, worried!!
Does anyone wish that I were alive, so undesirable I am in this body? I want to die, I want to die

S E R A thought all kinds of things in her head as Jun pushed her wheelchair with his right hand and the force of his body. Should she talk to him? Was he mad? She honestly didn't know. He usually talked non stop when he accompanied her, but right now he seemed exhausted and irritated, which wasn't good for Anastasia or any other performer slacking off. At this point... he might pull out the acid. She thought.
Trying to focus on other things, she looked down at her wheelchair. It was an ugly thing, full of rusty metal. She was honestly safer on foot, but for some reason, Jun insisted on such things. Did he... did he need to feel in control of her? Like she was a puppet on strings? Was she even important to him? "Why do you insist to put me in this. I walk perfectly fine."
Sera blurted, her thoughts manipulating her mouth. A couple minutes later, no response. Sera cleared her throat. "Hello? Jun, I'm talking to you."
"Ah, sorry Sera, could you stay quiet for a moment?"
He said. Ouch. Even though it hurt her to know Jun wouldn't share his feelings or his thoughts as of now, Sera maintained silence the rest of the way, for him.
When they reached the tent and entered, Sera immediately noticed Anastasia's voice. She waited awhile to see if he'd notice, but he seemed to be distracted... by whom? A performer? This made her a little worried. Who was it. "Angel is over there, Jun."
She said, pointing to the sound of the voice. When there was no response, Sera worried once more. Then, she felt the back of her wheelchair get clenched. "...Jun...?" She asked frighteningly.
Jun just let go of her chair, and Sera assumed he was going to confront the girl. She sighed, shaking her head. Let's hope that Angel has a God... she thought.

Anastasia ~ Performer
Location~ Circus Tent With~ Seiren and the Ringmaster Feeling~ Distressed

_____________________________________________________________________________

Anastasia glanced at Seiren out of the corner of her eye, giving a small shrug. What was he doing over there? It couldn't be helped, so she stood in the awkward silence rubbing her shoulder until he spoke again. As he did, she felt a small pang in her chest. She already knew that he didn't care about her, of course. The performers generally didn't even look at each other without the Ringmaster's approval, but being reminded of that didn't help with her distressed mood. Was he actually telling her to rest? Her eyes widened as she looked back up at his face, trying to see if he was serious or not. That would only lead to more destruction of her body. Suddenly the tension seemed palpable and she looked around, half-mindedly grabbing the cloth with her free hand as if it would offer some sort of protection. Other performers were glancing up at something before scurrying away like spooked animals.
The girl's breath caught in her throat as she heard Sera's voice ' Angel is over there, Jun.' Her grip on the cloth tightened as she glanced up at the Ringmaster, who was stalking towards her, leaving Sera behind in her wheelchair. It took her a brief moment, but she finally found her voice after he asked her a question, seeming to completely disregard Seiren. "M-My shoulder..." her voice trailed off for a moment, unsure of what to say next. Surely he could understand, at least a little? Usually she never complained about the pain, even when her flesh was molding with the cursed mask that was now on her face. "When I try to pull myself up I-I just can't... I'll be ready for tomorrow's performance, I swear. I'm so sorry!" She hung her head as if in shame, but really she just didn't want to look him in the eye. Not like she could do that easily, anyway. She'd have to bend her neck back just to get a glimpse of his chin at the angle she was at now. Her shoulder seemed to throb more now that she was giving more attention to it, and she silently cursed herself for being so weak. She'd suffered through broken bones, cuts, bruises... And she put up with it, all for the entertainment of the audience. However, now that her shoulder was, what, torn? She couldn't even pull herself up onto the blasted cloth and she would probably be punished for it.

❝ Nagito heard chattering behind her, she looks back and saw the New Ringmaster and his Assistant outside the tent. It seems the New Ringmaster is heading to "Angel's" direction. Interested by the scene, she stopped in her tracks and stared at the two wondering what they are saying. Nagito looked back at the Ringmaster's Assistant, she doesn't know much about her. It always just seems she's interested only being by the Ringmaster's side, not like she really care what relationship those two are in. She just doesn't want to involve herself with her or even make her mad of her. She never got near the Ringmaster because she has never been yelled at by him, so the Assistant doesn't seem to think much about her. If she keeps her distance from the both of them, luck will be on her side after all the Assistant seems to be a bit mysterious. Nagito will never know if the Assistant will plan something for her so she wants to keep her distance from her. After awhile now Nagito couldn't hear a thing of what the Ringmaster is saying so she got back to her routine a bit before she gets yelled at. Nagito will never want to be yelled at so she looked away. ❞
❝ After awhile now, Nagito seemed to relax a bit after her routine. She wanted to practice a bit more, but felt a bit tired on her neck. The pain is coming back, from all the stress she received from her training for the performance soon. Nagito looks at the Assistant's direction again, it seems to interest her how she's so concentrated at the confrontation of the two. Nagito look back to the two's direction, it seems something's about to happen. Nagito feeling even more interested walks to the side so she won't be noticed much from the other performers.
"So Ringmaster what will you show me?" Nin gave off a twisted smirk looking at the two with a fascinated mind wondering what will happen next and will someone get hurt. ❞

Seiren ~ Tamer
Location~ Circus Tent With~ Anastasia and Jun(the ringmaster) Feeling~ Scared

_____________________________________________________________________________

Seiren nearly froze in place when the ringmaster approached both of them. It was clear that he was nearly invisible to Jun's eyes while he spoke to Anastasia, but it was too late to make his escape to the sidelines. Looking at Jun from the corner of his eye, he knew that this man was dangerous and would probably think nothing of snuffing out his very life on the spot for distracting his performers. Without looking directly at Jun, he took a step back as his body shook from the pressure of the ringmaster’s anger. 'I need to get out of the tent. I need to do it before he focuses on Me.' he thought, knowing full well that he had nothing to show for his many practice sessions. He took one more step back.

His eyes then looked to Anastasia and halted his motion to escape. He was sickened by how his mind processed escaping Jun's wraith, while he dealt with Anastasia. This situation was a product of his misguided actions and had caused trouble for Anastasia. Seiren steadied himself and refused to move anymore then he already had. His mouth moved slightly, mouthing something to the effect of 'it's my fault' but couldn't manage to say it out loud-- he didn't have a death wish so he remained silent.

✶ Deep, deep in the heart of the forest, there you'll find that circus with it's ringmaster, wide-eyed and 10 meters tall

J U N shook his head at the poor girl. She was so frantic. And she should be. Merely talking to another performer and not focusing on getting ready for the audience's enjoyment was just very disrespectful, to him and the people who payed to see it. How dare she? And just because her poor body was in pain. That was the point. She needed to be in pain. Did she think people came to see her actually do well in the air? These sick people wanted to see her fall. They wanted to see her break, and crumble into pieces. He didn't care if she had to die while doing it.
Jun glanced to the side, examining the frantic boy. He seemed to be contemplating a lot of things. Good for him, he knew just to shut up and stay quiet. He didn't want to waste his energy on two performers. If he punished one, every one would know not to try anything. Every one would know to obey his orders. To practice and practice until their bones shattered. Even if they were bleeding to death on the floor, they better try until their last breaths. It was just... common courtesy for someone who just took your sorry life in to a better place.
But apparently, no one got that here. At some point, they'd think he'd just calm down and accept the fact they'd rather chat all day. That was not going to be so. He glanced back to Anastasia's crooked wings, a smile splaying on his face when he got a wonderful, terrific idea. "Oh dear," He said, clicking his tongue. "You seem to be in pain? I can fix that." He extended his hand to the shaking girl. "Come here, my Angel."

She put her tiny hands on her wheels, just about to push forward to his voice when she felt someone's eyes lingering on her. If someone isn't performing and focusing... Jun will definitely get very angry... She thought. Sera felt the presence go away and then come back again. She then listened to the person's foot steps walk to the side, and then heard a girl's voice. "So Ringmaster what will you show me?"
This interested Sera, and annoyed her. What girl was paying attention to her Jun? "U-um... I think you should focus on your performance..." She said loudly, but with more of a nervous tone than she had intended.

Anastasia ~ Performer
Location~ Circus Tent With~ Seiren and the Ringmaster Feeling~ Frightened

_____________________________________________________________________________

Anastasia focused her gaze on the floor, keeping the tears that threatened to spill down her face at bay as she waited for the Ringmaster to speak again. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Seiren backing up, but she didn't say anything and neither did he. For a second she felt angry. Hadn't she warned him? She'd told him they'd be punished, but she'd been wrong. No, they wouldn't be punished, but she would be. Every part of her mind screamed that it wasn't fair, but she quickly shoved those feelings down. Of course it wasn't fair. What part of this circus was supposed to be? And Seiren had been trying to consol her, hadn't he? Either way she felt a little bitter, though she had little time to think about it before an almost overwhelming fear descended on her as she heard the Ringmaster's voice, calling her to him. Slowly she lifted her head to look up at him in slight confusion. Was he really going to fix her pain...? Had he ended up understanding after all?
Anastasia shook slightly and managed to take a step forward before pausing. She could hardly swallow the lump in her throat before she continued, trembling, towards the impossibly tall man in front of her. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry... she thought, but couldn't find her words and stayed silent, which was probably for the better.

❝ Nagito heard what Sera the assistant said to her so she walked up to her. "Oh. Sorry. Should I? Nagito said with a smirk on her face. But my routine ended and I'm taking a break now, I want to see what the chatter is over there about. I could practice later, I hope that's alright with you. You are also interested in the conversation the Ringmaster is having right? But maybe your right I should practice a bit more. Nagito looked back at the girl "Angel", she felt so sorry for the poor girl. She will get punished soon like how she normally do by the Ringmaster. Nagito walked back to her usual spot and start to practice her performance again for the show. She felt disappointed in not watching the whole show in front of her, but it is needed if she doesn't want to be punished either. ❞
❝ Nagito practiced on her acrobatics again, she did a couple of flips and spins. She will be up in the air making all the spins and turns on a thin rope high in the air. She has done this before, but this time something's different she will be much higher in the air than usual. She wants to make this perfect, just like she always does. She can't and won't mess up, not this time, not ever. She practice a bit more till her legs can't take it, but she knows she needs to take it to the extremes if she wants to perform perfectly. She practice over and over again not knowing when to stop, even if her legs feel pain she won't stop till it's time. She will make everything perfect wishing she can show it to her Brother. Like her Brother, he perform everything perfectly. She wants to be just like him, one day hoping he can see her perfectness. One day he will appear again in front of her. ❞

JUN - я ι η g м α ѕ т є я
WHERE: Performance Tent WHEN: Evening WHO: Anastasia, Seiren MOOD: Satisfied
✶ Deep, deep in the heart of the forest, there you'll find that circus with it's ringmaster, wide-eyed and 10 meters tall

J U N smiled sweetly for Anastasia was finally being a good girl and coming towards him when he asked her to. He reached his right hand towards her, pulling her forward. "Good girl." He whispered smoothly into her ear, and used his arm to turn her around. He took his right hand and grasped one of the ugly metal contraptions springing from the deformed girl's back, and pulled on it with all his strength. He watched as it slowly and painfully dismantled from between her shoulder blades and pulled through her cracked bones and her stitched up skin, making the flesh separate with a paper tearing sound. Her crimson liquid splattered all over his fine clothes. And now... the other one. He looked up first to see every one's reactions. Certainly, they'd all obey now...

S E R A 's jaw dropped, completely stunned by the way this disrespectful girl talked to her! Didn't she know she could tell Jun right away and have her punished as well? She clutched her skirt, trembling with anger. No. She thought. I'll deal with this one on my own... she can't... Jun... UGH! Something in Sera's mind snapped, and she hung her head down. She would not be defeated. All she needed was her name... to memorize her voice... to focus on everything she did... the target was locked.
Suddenly, Sera heard a terrible sound come from where Jun's confrontation was happening. What was he doing? Was that the terrible sound of Anastasia's punishment? "J-jun...!?"
