I don't think that's a good idea. It's hard to meet people after college. On the same note, college become 10000x times harder when you 'college sweetheart' cheats on you and leaves you in the beginning of your senior year. That's what happened to me.

I had the luxury of adding a second senior year, because I was paying my own way through college. Also, the whole dot-com bubble burst had just happened. I dated a ton of girls in those two years.

My high school "sweetheart" carried over to college and threw me through a loop when it ended.

The last relationship I had lasted 2 years, and really just feels like wasted time now. But I have learnt from my mistakes, and feel like I have grown as a person. I am not against the idea of having a girlfriend, but I am not going out of my way looking for one.
