these ads that appear in the margins get really distracting because they're not only loud but they have no volume button and automatically play as soon as they load but they also replay once they've played once and the second time is just as noisy as the first, for example i try to watch Yuruyuri season 2 with the new episode that just became available to free members and after the 2 30 second "why do people have crunchyroll memberships?" ads that are to cover the load time of the video itself once the anime started another ad started, could you imagine trying to watch something and you can't even hear half the dialog because it's being drowned out by some woman rambling about lady speed stick or a similar advertisement? please do some quality control and check which ads you are going to put on the webpages you get to when you click the specific anime episode you want to watch. worst part is the square where the ad goes remains blank until after the ads play before the anime and then the intrusive talking ads that loop infinitely go to the margin of the page and only load after the anime itself starts and oh god they're trying to sell me asprin now and i am starting to seriously feel like i need one. it's giving me a headache, not because the advertising is effective. in fact i'll deny the effect and if i take any kind of headache medication it won't be one that is advertised here and i might just boycott every product that comes on in the ads if this keeps up.

So...
Can you please break down what is happening in a bulleted format? I'm not following the paragraph very well.

certainly.
-I open my browser and go to crunchyroll.com and then log in with my account.
-I pick an episode of a series that i've been following.
-as the episode loads, so do the ads. (a few exceptions like the 3 minute shows such as poyopoyo.)
-after the first one and sometimes there's a second one but that's besides the point, the episode starts and i hit fullscreen right away.
-another ad on the page itself despite the video being in fullscreen and having no interaction with the webpage once the flash player opens the fullscreen video mode.
-an ad is playing as the same time as the anime i'm trying to watch. it causes some skipping and slowdown in the video and there is two sources of sound assaulting my ears from two sources.

Are you using the full screen button, or the pop out button?

fullscreen. pop out doesn't work for free users.

You likely have malware on your computer since our ads should not have audio playing while you are watching a video. It's common these days for malware to collect data about sites you visit and then inject ads in to make it seem like the site itself is providing the ads.

I would suggest downloading these 2 programs (free version is all you need) and running a full computer scan with each.

If the computer scans do not resolve the issue, that does not rule out it being a malware problem since malware evolves every day to try and get past these types of scans. Sometimes malware only has manual removal instructions available. We can verify whether or not it's caused by an ad network we use if you tell us specifically what the advertisements are of. It would also help if you could use something like Firebug to track down the exact request and send it to us but that requires some knowledge of web development.

I've been noticing a similar problem and I definitely do not have any adware or viruses on my computer. Your current ad provider, AdChoice, is sometimes inserting ads in the ad box on the side of the page that start talking as soon as they load. There is currently no way to silence or pause them and it doesn't matter if you already have a video playing or an ad in a video playing, it talks at the same time. It also doesn't matter whether you're in full screen or windowed mode. It used to be that the ads wouldn't talk unless you moused directly over them.
