I've seen many videos of people arguing that anime will die out however I never thought I would stumble across a video where someone said anime will die out in 10 years. I don't see how you could also give a specific time of when it will die as well. He argued that once the big 3 One Piece, Naruto and Bleach end that will be the day when anime comes to a close......I was shocked to hear him argue the possibility of that happening considering how there are successful anime that aren't mainstream. If you wanna see this kid actually prove himself here's a link.

Kid that believes Anime will end in 10 years

I don't think it will die at all. It's became a well-known form of entertainment worldwide. Some people eventually "grow up" and tire of anime but that's based on personal preference already.

I got bored of the video after awhile. It sounded like plain teenage angst. Basically, his two points didn't totally meet. It's related but doesn't take into consideration other linkages. Piracy is definitely bad but in one way or another it has spread the reach of anime throughout the world. If there are more legal sites that are affordable like crunchyroll, I'm sure that problem will end sooner or later. Too lazy to elaborate further though.

False. While the industry is having issues at the moment, it's not like it is a permanent issue...unless these sites which illegally stream anime remain up....THEN we have an issue. So 4 things may cause the industry to fail:

1) Illegal streams.
2) Japan's economy takes a nose dive
3) Shintaro Ishihara or powerful people just a stupid as him get their way.
4) Japan goes back to their old ways(the least unlikely of the 4)

wow that kid really needs to get educated on how the world works. that's all i'm gonna say, i could go on on why is argument is just plain wrong but there's no point in that since it wont change anything. putting my personal feelings to anime aside, the fact is anime will never die out.

Lol the poll results.

Since no one knows what the future will bring, giving an irrational prediction of when it'll end is silly. Maybe the popularity of Anime will die down as all things that are popular do, or it may not.
