Clannad definitely for me the beginning was really slow and was ready to give up but then I finished it and started After Story, wow was I glad to have finished it.

We without Wings - confusing all the way up to the last 2 episodes but enjoyed it none the less

Clannad is probably one of my favorites, granted its a slice of life harem genre, but it pulls away from normal harems to reveal a deep story.

Thats what I think I liked most about Clannad was how different the harem aspect of it was. It just had so much more depth and wasnt shallow at all. The character development I loved the most

Sometimes I dont think I will ever find another harem like that or slice of life....I mean both seasons were superb none the less,
atleast anime that incorporate children the way Clannad After Story did was amazing

I agree with Ga-Rei: Zero! I just kind of paused and wondered what they were thinking! Yeah, I never got past the first episode because of the main character situation and the cheesy monster designs. That rolling monster or whatever reminded me of an oversized pokemon!

Mashiroiro Symphony seemed dull and stereotypical at first, but I liked the orchestral insert songs, so I continued, and I found out that the first three episodes were really just set-up to the focus of the series. It was an anime that seemed no better than okay, but turned out to be very good.
