I'm kind of a pansy, so I don't know if the games I've been scared of would scare other people!
But for the game: Dead Space. I didn't even leave the ship at the beginning of the game!
Movie: The Collector. All I can say is people were hanging by fishooks from their backs. >.<

I was gonna say Dead Space is pretty damn scary at points especially if its your first time through but do you mean you never leave the broken shuttle? As in, start the first level?

I've never been scarred of a video game or movie, but for games I'd say the one with the most "jumpy" atmosphere would be Fatal Frame for the ps2. It makes for a pretty nerve wrecking game when the only way you can defeat the ghost is by pointing a camera at them and trying to get a good shot before they assault you. As for movies I'd say the Evil Dead remake was noteworthy.

it's a tie between the first F.E.A.R and Amnesia for me.

All of the silent hill games get to me, dead space 2 made me jump a few times!

movie wise hmm too me its the ones that can happen to you like idk if i ever was captured by someone as crazy as jigsaw from saw idk what id do its not the movie thats scary its the situation itself cause its scary to think what we would do if we were pushed beyond reasoning

that's a tough question. I love watching/playing the horror genre. Jump scares just dont do it for me. Is have the say the original Silent Hill for the PS1 was scariest when i was a kid. I could only play for 30 min before i had to take a break.

Fear with those monster are just horrible ugly and seeing cut scene of lil girl reminded me of the grudge aka didnt rly like but beat it lol

Slender walking around with flash light which is limit on battery looking for 6 page and each page come with noise and shake effect was also very scary and every time u near the guy seem like i was watching the movie The Ring was rather annoying

Call of duty blackop zombies with my turtle beach on scared me first time having my headset since u can hear the footsteps so loud wasn't fun -.-

well those only horror games that actually scare me call of duty really isn't 1 but warning never play zombies with turtle beaches lol. Slender is free game it under beta if anyone want try it out ^^ kind of creep me out lol

The first time I watched Ju-on, it was pretty creepy. Ringu, too. Most horror films don't scare me, I just enjoy watching them for fun.

I haven't really played 'scary' games. The horror genre for games is just...not scary to me. Minecraft is surprisingly jumpy, though (Creepers and stuff sneaking up to you at night or while you are in a cave). Resident Evil 4 also had some unsettling aspects (Regenerators and Iron Maidens were kind of freaky).
