If I were trapped in Sword Art Online, I would attempt to locate the MYSTICAL ARTIFACT of magic known as "Plot" and "Story structure" Alas, I hear it's a VERY rare item in the world of Sword Art Online

Start small by making a few friends or getting connections. Preferably become a leader of a guild and build it up to be the top dungeon clearers. Go after the top floor/final boss. Find out some Gary Stu solo player defeated the creator of the game apparently though he seemingly did little but hang out with moe girls the whole time and go fishing and eat stew. Wake up in hospital after having been stuck to bed whole time and wish I could go kick him in the balls but my muscles have atrophied as a normal person would after having no activity for so long. You know what, this is just kind of turning into a rant haha.

My first reaction will probably be: "HOLY SH!T!"

I would get to know the place more, train lots, and join a successful guild. That is, if they accept me :P

Oh, oh I know! I'll find Kirito and Asuna and we'll become buddies :3

Cry and probably stay in the first couple of towns forever.
Start a restaurant once I get bored of crying.

cry a bit walk around look at shit figure shit out

if i had friends in game like klein im not sure what i would do i woudnt want to group with them incase 1 ended up dying. id rather not witness it but on the other hand what happens if i make it out and find out they died i could of helped them?? regret

knowing nobody i would without a doubt cry a bit and then do an asuna and cry myself to sleep each night u in the hope i would meet someone who can comfort me.

id also be a slacker id be asuna/kirito combined id cry myself to sleep until someone can comfort me but id want to clear the game as soon as i can but i would also slack around on other days

yeh this sums up better then my last post

seems alot off people would prefer to just take it easy and let others clear sounds like the real soa in 1 episode they said there was only 500/6000 trying to clear the game

defo would want to clear the as fast as possible but making sure no one dies would be a priority

I'd try and stop the people going to the top floor because omgIwantmylifetobelikethatforrealz :3

...and in turn become a huge financial burden to my family who have to pay the medical bills needed to sustain my life while I selfishly prance around in an mmorpg.

I don't work well with a group so I will mostly be alone.

I'll do many quests as possible, of course... Get good weapons and skills, etc.

In MMO's I tend to go solo. On the other hand there are times when I pull too much and get killed, so solo is a bad idea, after all just about no body has insane skills like Kirito, and in fact most MMO's are designed in a way that no matter your skill you will lose (attacks that cannot be dodged).

So now removing that delusion that I can be some kind of super solo player, I would join a small guild like Klein's and try to avoid risk by constantly leveling as a group and becoming skillful as a group. I would not go out of my way to murder people, but I would kill PK's if I noticed them, mainly as a self-defense mechanism or rather that their pure existence threatens my livelihood whether or not they are killing me directly. That is what I would do in SAO.

In ALO I'd join the Salamanders and be a typical Salamander jerk. The other sides don't seem like they would compete unless they are antagonized and the Salamanders seem like the only side that was actively antagonizing the others, so I'd join them in order to have some PVP fun.

Go solo, have a near death experience and just forget about it. Chill and make friends while I wait for somebody to finish the damn game cause I aint doing it.

The amount of times I died when playing MMOs are ridiculous. I wouldn't even dare try to finish that game.

I would hang around town and make all the gamers give me free stuff. I'd probably end up killing like 8 million level 1 creatures to get to max level before setting out to murder the bosses. I had one thought about the premise (I'm assuming anyone reading this thread has seen episode 1 but I'll spoiler it anyways)
just a thought is all.

The Nerve gear has 12mm interior copper plating that protects the circuit boards from low energy EMPs. Specifically so that any higher level that can penetrate the copper, would also affect the gamers brain and the same result would occur. Katana is a genius, I doubt he would have left any loop holes open.

I'd probably join a guild and focus on leveling up.
