I live in Austin, sorry your concert was cancelled. I had tickets to see NIN once but the person I was going with fell ill and the show was in San Antonio. I was totally bummed out too. But alas, I have been to 8 NIN shows in my life so I guess I didn't miss much! But I still regret it...
Austin has an Asian Cultural Club and they host some pretty cool events some times, I usually check their website for fun stuff. And of course there are always a billion musical shows going on, its never a dull moment here! |

Darn that sucks. I would love to see NIN I have listened to them but not too much. There is tons of concert over here in houston as well except there are a few that do skip & instead go to San Antonio, Dallas, or Austin.

I was actually born in Houston no recollection of the place though since I moved to Dallas when I was three, I currently live in a suburb of Dallas~ life is quiet and peaceful here. |

I only been to a few concerts sometimes i go to at least one to 3 concerts per year. depending on where the venue is located at. Plus if i have the money to go & someone to go with since going with a friend is much more fun. There is tons of concerts all the time. sometimes they are in Dallas & san antonio as well which sucks for me since Houston gets skipped sometimes

But if you ever feel like there is nothing to do one the weekends let me know, maby i can help like this coming weekend china town is gonna have their new years festival all weekend long look up "Lunar Festival" or "Texas Lunar Festival". There are actually two different events each at its own location only a few miles apart from each other, It's gonna be fun. |

We have the Japan Fest April 13th & 14th here in Houston if anyone is interested. Lonestar Comic Con in SA is coming up soon as well as A-Kon in Dallas this May.
I almost completely forgot about Anime Matsuri. The always hot Yaya Han will be there. http://animematsuri.com/ |

I just moved to the Houston area (North Centralish). There is always stuff going down at the Woodlands, Tx its only about 20 from where I live. I've only been to two concerts (Sad I turn 26 this Friday). I saw Goo Goo Dolls, Life House, Colbie Callie when I was a sophomore in college. Then I went to New Orleans Voodoo Vest 2011 it was awesome I saw alot of bands there and actually ended up meeting MCR which was the main reason I decided to go.
I hear that anime-matsuri is a pretty big deal its going down this weekend March 29-31st 2013. I also agree with the person who said houston's big so why is it so hard to find people and fun things. My biggest problem is it seems that all the groups I've heard of all meet up in south west houston, its just to far for me to go to. Houston traffic is a bitch. |
