Just a quick poll I'm making for data collection regarding gender preference in fictitious media.
The "same sex/opposite sex" notes are relative to your own sex.
Feel free to post your reasoning if you want. I've always been interested in how different people relate to fictional characters based on gender.

All I care about is GOOD lead characters. I don't care about the gender.

Good stories and interesting themes can be associated with either male or female leads. However, as a guy, I'll admit the average anime heroine is also pleasant to look at, and so prefer female leads.
