Your thoughts on iPhone&iPad?

I hate crApple. Why? Overpricing at the very least. Why buy something for the prices they sell at when you can get the same thing at a much cheaper price?

People have their preferences over electronic devices, some are just hardcore apple fans.

I prefer my blackberry, but my gf loves her iphone.
I have an ipad which i use to play games, and watch movies on.

I'm a fan of Apple, I'll admit. All their products I've bought have performed at a high level for a long time, are durable, and also has a sexy design factor to them.

I've never had really any problems with their laptops, iPods, or iPhones, etc. so I guess I've developed a brand loyalty. True, they do get pretty pricey, but that's why I work so I can afford some nice things for myself every once in a while.

The hype surrounding iPhones and iPads annoys me. They are good devices, but extremely overrated.
iPads are just supersized iPhones. But the iPad has several advantages over iPhones, such as making it easier to use apps that better on a larger screen (game apps, especially) and the longer battery life. On that note, the battery life of iPhones is DEPRESSING.

My biggest issue with them is that they aren't Flash compatible. When I'm trying to watch a Flash video that isn't from an iDevice-friendly website (like YouTube or Dailymotion), I just can't. This really gets in my way when I'm trying to watch anime. Because of this, I'm grateful for the Crunchyroll app, however, that isn't really too much of an advantage due to the limited selection of anime. There's only about a handful of anime that I'm interested in on here (that isn't region restricted, anyway).
There are a few web browser apps that have Flash enabled, but on these apps many websites still don't work, which is extremely frustrating.

You have to admit though, iPhones are very useful. They are MUCH easier to use than other phones, and there's an app for virtually everything. Whenever I'm getting impatient waiting for something, I can just pull it out and play Akinator (seriously addicted game, btw. Try it).

All in all, despite the flaws, I like iPhones and iPads. They are easy to use, and there is a massive library of apps to use. It takes me quite a while to get bored with one if it has a sufficient number of apps installed.

I own a iPhone and iPad and it's quite handy in terms of communicating with my family members abroad.
FaceTime is waay better than Skype and I could read manga/watch animes on the go :3

iPad is just a big iPhone, I think. My mother has an iPod Touch. Not the same, mind you, but runs on iOS either way. Updating the thing was a pain and I had to re-download all the music, whereas I can update my Android easily. I've never really experienced an iPad, however, so I'm not going to say anything I can't back up. Still, they're amazing devices, I'm sure, and a lot of things that aren't supported on Android are supported on iOS. Same goes for vice versa as well, though.

I have had two iPhones since 2009 (iPhone 3G and now an iPhone 4s). I have not felt any love for either up until I got the Crunchyroll app for my iPhone 4s. Then I got an AppleTV, and my phone is like a Crunchyroll remote for my TV. I really like it now.

Well for starters I've always hated anything with an apple OS so I will go out of my way to find things with a different OS. I own tons of electronics and not a single one I own is an Apple product.

I LOVEEEE my iPod touch... even though it's 3G... I also hate how they cut out the 3G for the ios 6 update... I feel like I've paid for a product and now they're trying to get you to buy a new one...

I'll admit my iPod is like more than 2 years old, but I dislike the fact that they're trying to force me to buy something that's a few hundred dollar's... I'm proud to say, I haven't spent a penny on songs or apps~ why? cause my iPod was already like $400, and if I had actually followed the rules and bought stuff, I'd probably have nothing on my iPod cause I'm cheap like that.

I also like the fact that I've dropped my iPod like 14235142x times, and it still hasn't broken... I probably bought it before the company cut the good supplies. But I find it funny because I have a few friends that have dropped their iPod touch 4gs and iPhones and they've cracked everytime...

But all in all, I hate Apple's money making schemes, but I LOVEEE my device ~

I started off with Android with an Envy and moved up to a Thunderbolt and then to an Iphone 4, honestly I was able to move through my Android alot easier than I can with my Iphone. It is a great phone none the less but I have personally always been an Android and Windows user. Macs, not for me they just irritate me for some reason and I would way rather have a Dell, Lenovo, or any other make. OS other Apple are slower on the compatibility side but thats not really an issue for me. I have an Apple product and i Just dont see what the big hype is about it. So my suggestion, just stay with Android

They're alright, I have an iPhone 4 s and an iPad, I get a lot of use out of my iPhone but so far the only thing I use the iPad for is casual internet surfing and watch CR etc when I am away from my desktop. These will probably be the last though, as I said they're alright but the extreme walled garden approach Apple has, annoys the hell out of me.

My thoughts aren't with either. Which reminds me....I need to contact the BNSF Dispatch Center down in Ft. Worth, TX and re-instigate investigation into which 86' refrigerated car has them. Three days ago they were enroute to KC on manifest train M-BARKCK1-29. Hopefully, I'll get the call re them very soon. EMTs found my brain at the wreck site the other day using a K-9 dog. I'll be whole again soon someday. Yippee!

I didn't start using a smartphone until a year ago and now I'm hooked. It's so convenient! I just hate how the batteries last for about 5 hours if your settings are wrong.

Had my iPhone going on three years. Love it. I find it dependable and it does everything I want. For me it's worth the cost, and so was my Otterbox, the big clunky outer shell that protects it from cracking. They're pretty fragile otherwise.
