Or so it has been said. I heard that after what? Seven years, they're canceling Versus, BUT I also heard it is going to be made into Final Fantasy 15. Other than that, Final Fantasy 13 is now being made into a trilogy and sometime soon, part three is going to come out. Any thoughts? I mean they haven't even released 14 yet or spoke of it so I'm pretty disappointed Versus is being canceled and being made into 15. That might be years from now.

wut i heard during a interview witht the creators in june is that they are still working on it and i f you haven't played type -0 it awesome and you should try it I think the gameplay was better than 13. might even try to sell my copy

– There's someone making a false rumor that Versus was cancelled. Haha...Just a minute ago, the regular Versus meeting ended. If you saw the presentation of the city, it'd knock you off your feet~lol

Usually games that take this long to come out aren't well received. I wouldn't get your hopes up to high for this game and just move on.

The hype has died for this, I don't doubt it will be a good game but it won't sell too well due to the fact that most people have lost interest.

Any this is why companies need to announce games/devices within a short period of when they are releasing it. Making people wait, isn't good for business in any sense. Not any more at least.

Think it is still under creation haven't seen any official confirmation its been cancelled yet, though isn't this meant to be a PS 3 exclusive though?

I'm pretty sure Versus is still being worked on, but it's taken a backseat to the other projects. One of those projects is Final Fantasy 13: Lightning Returns. I can't remember if that was the exact name, but I know it's about Lightning.

It has not been canceled, FF XIII is terrible, and they just need to stop, and there was a FF IV, it was terrible, also.
