back in mexico they used to show heidi candy candy and remi back in the late 80s early 90s I didnt even know it was from japan back then until the dragon ball and saint seiya days in the early 90s

My first anime was Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, a.k.a. Silverfang. My two younger siblings and me watched it as kids, it was pretty hardcore actually with alot of gore and what not. Today I find it weird they had that series in the toy store. |

AKIRA, when I was like 5-6, did not know what the hell was going on, and it kind of freaked me out when I was a kid. I used to watch Terminator, Robocop, and PREDATOR, and AKIRA was the only thing that traumatized me.

Digimon was definatly the first one I watched as a kid.
The first anime a watched knowing it was anime was dragonball Z which here in the UK only aired on Toonami(it was a full on channel over here) and I didn't have it, when I was ten I was bored one day and decided to check it out thanks to my sister buying me dragonball Z budokai 2 I loved it so much I went out and watched Naruto and Bleach(Ironically I don't like either of them anymore) and from there I went to soul eater and kept watching more and more thanks to it.
