Hooray for US and Canada
Meanwhile in Scotland... ;_;

Regardless, Angel Beats has stood up as my personal favourite anime of all time, period. If it ever becomes available to Europeans, that would be fantastic step, though the bottom line here is that more people should watch this masterpiece, as well as to hopefully feel an equal connection within the world provided.

Now, you might wonder, with it being only 12 episodes - "Would it not feel rushed?".
My humble opinion here is any anime that is a half series in length, will always leave you feeling like they could have stretched further with the story, character development et cetera, however Angel Beats feels very fitting, truly the only negative to this anime, is it's length.I'll not spoil anything, but can say from start to finish, it has yielded my highest respects.

Lastly, if you like to collect music, I must urge you to look into both Girls Dead Monster (GiDeMo) and the Original Soundtrack.
(Oh... and I hate you Dengeki... Most troll otaku magazine of 2012 =/)

I always get that message on Crunchyroll. I HAVE ALL-ACCESS MEMBERSHIP!!! I'm paying the same amount of money as other people who can watch this anime!!!

I think I'm only paying to see that message hahaha instead of anime.

Same, they at least could give different prices to different regions, seeing as some regions (like mine) doesn't even get a third of the simulcasts available in NA.

Now getting back on topic, everyone who didn't watch Angel Beats should watch it now, one of the best animes i watched lately.

Woo! I just finished it recently but since it's going to be here on CR, might as well watch it again. Such a good anime.

Lower payments for your region would mean CR would have even less funds to license anime for your region. It isn't as if anime has a fixed cost per episode per viewer per region. Contract costs can be a more significant part of that costs, and they are relatively fixed, regardless of the number of viewers in a region.

The reason the U.S. and Canada get everything is because they are Crunchyroll's largest market, and because of that, there are more viewers to spread out the fixed (i.e. contract) costs to, which means shows are more affordable on a per viewer basis. This makes it affordable to get more shows, which then feeds back into more viewers and subscribers. (I saw a figure once that 69% of CR's subscribers are in the U.S., although who knows if that number is accurate).

If anime distributors licensed all of Europe as one big region, things would be considerably different, but as long as they license countries individually or in small blocks, you won't see much change.
