Does the app still crash a lot for some people?

I know when I'm trying to flip through seasons of Naruto or just looks through the anime on my queue a little too fast that the app tends to crash A LOT.

Is this is a recurrent problem for anyone else?

And any news on an update?

This happens to me all the time. It crashes if you flip through seasons/episodes. I've also noticed that letting it autoplay the next episode of a show will result in the audio being out of sync and the video being choppy. I can sometimes get around this by hitting O to back out after an episode and waiting for the list to finish updating to show me the next episode before starting it again. It also crashes every 2 or 3 episodes on a good day.

All in all the app works and lets me watch on my TV with minimal effort but it is pretty buggy still.

Is there a reason some anime is removed from the app like I was watching watamote the other day and then i started to watch silver spoon and it crashed and now watamote is gone

Well I didn't really have that problem but something similar.
I used to watch Nyarko-San on my PS3 but then recently it stopped loading.
But my friend messed with the Video Preferences on my account and set my default language to English and it allowed Nyarko to load again.

Also I was never able to watch Mysterious Girlfriend X on my PS3 until then.

Well I just signed up for the premium and am using it through my ps3 but it has been freezing on me. I know it's not the ps3. Also it sometimes won't play episodes at all. Also the video will start lagging while the sound continues. Like honestly this is the kind of crap I had to deal with when streaming through the Internet browser (with my ps3). I didn't pay for this just to have to deal with these same problems. Fix it!!

I totally agree..i've been having the same problems on my ps3 every time i use the app..I'm also a premium user and it's disturbing to know i'm paying for a service and the service sometimes not useable..I hope they fix the issues before i cancel my subscription

I posted this in the "PS3 - An Update From Support" thread as well, but here's my method for preventing a total app crash and a hard reset of my PS3. I don't know how helpful it is, as mentioned it's really just a Band-Aid solution, but it worked for me all day, so... yeah...


UPDATE: I figured something out! While it is in no way a solution, it works. When the quality starts to go to shit, quit the application immediately, wait a minute, then re-open it. It'll work until it craps out again, then rinse and repeat. Again it's not a solution to the initial problem, it's a preventative from the application crashing and having to hard-reset your PS3. I dunno, I just though I'd add this after I figured this out to try and help. It's basically a Band-Aid solution but it's something. I've done this about three times this evening (when I thought of it) and my PS3 hasn't crashed yet. I'll keep y'all posted if something goes wrong. Good luck!

One year after and is still not available to Europe. What kind of joke is that? We get less shows, less services but pay the same amount as american users.
But what feds me up the most is that there are not any updates like if they are talking with PS Store Europe to release the app or improvements on the reported bugs of this app.

i agree with both of you i already cancelled my subscription but ill re-subscribe if CR gets off there butts and fixes the problems
