I don't want to use a credit card on the ps3 for oblivious reason. So can I buy a pre paid card like they got for hulu or use the ps 3 point cards to purchase the monthly offering?

So far, nothing but problems. Maybe these can also be addressed in the patch.

Sudden dropped frames/artifacting (probably what most are referring to as being lag)

A lot (all?) of the subtitles are stupid large? Tested on two totally separate PS3s/HDTVs, they are obnoxiously big and sometimes stretch off screen, in particular the letter g will be cut off at the bottom.

The crashing, as for whatever reason the app is a major resource hog. Maybe because it still allows the XMB to be running in the background, something Netflix does not allow for.

Actual big problem: Cannot start the 30-day free trial offered in-app. For Zip/Postal code entry, you did not enable alphanumeric input, so a Postal code cannot actually be entered for those of us in Canada and I had to start the trial which is only half that length from the site.

I would really like to see these addressed before I start paying money for it, because anybody can watch anime on their computer but a convenient streaming service on a console would be definitely worth 7 bucks a month with your selection, even if it remained in an actually even kind of decent SD.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, this is basically unusable to me. This is total trash right now to be honest. Which is totally expected, it's brand new, it's new territory. Please do not let that continue to be the case.

Sold my PS3 a week ago rofl. Good thing I can still use my phone and laptop to watch episodes.

Video Lagging Problem....the fast forward and playback feature is a bit a of problem. Needs to be fixed.

Whoever coded the App should be ashamed of themselves, such a buggy POS. Constantly crashing my PS3, refusing to play content, horrendous loading times getting into episodes.

Just about the only positive aspect is "My queue".
