I plan on totally getting a tablet possibly the Nexus 7 16gb for 250 since that is a great price. No HDMI output & no Micro sd is not a totally big deal. I can live without those.
I would love to get the new ipad but the version that I want is the 16gb with 4G LTE from VZW but i would prefer the 32gb with 4g LTE. but I don't want to spend 600+ on a tablet now. I would rather spend less. Since that money could be put to good use so that i can buy something for my car. myself. or something useful.
But yeah I plan on using my future tablet for streaming video, music, reading manga. Watching shows on CR. I am excited to purchasing my tablet later on this year.
I would love to maybe go with THE MS Surface but i will wait until I know a price

On my kindle fire I read, text my friends, play tetris, watch anime and k-dramas, listen to music, go on twitter, and do other stuff on the internet. I got it for Christmas last year and I'm very happy with it besides the fact that the keyboard sometimes is glitchy >.<

Basically, stuff i do with my desk top i do it with my tabs plus sweet photo and best part is even when and while driving or stuck in a traffic pretty much my navigator

I use my tablet for games, designs for projects, as a que card when i give presentations, composing music, navigation, keeping in touch with my friends in UK, and downloading homework form our school website ^^

currently using an Iconia w500 using Windows 8 Release Preview:
...I'm still waiting for a Windows 8 app for Crunchyroll in the windows store...
but since it's a PC Tablet (that even comes complete with a GPU so I can use the hardware acceleration), I have access to full flash plugins (through the desktop browsers anyway), and can therefore use the site pages... so therefore I can stream Crunchyroll on my tablet.
I also stream videos off my main PC through the network... but although the network can handle it, high bit rate HD video struggles.
Reading manga in portrait is good on this system too.
The main reason I've got it though is to aid touch screen UI design, and as a lower end performance test bed (since what runs on my main rig (an i7core + nVidia GTX 570 overclocked watercooled system) most likely will struggle on somewhat more common lesser machines, (especially since I like to layer a lot of videos in my Flash designs).

@mvirgilio- I'm jealous. I only have the Iconia a200 and wish I had waited and went with what you have . Anyway, as far as what I do with it. I stream videos from hulu, netflix, cr, funi as well as read, go on social networking sites, and play one of two games. Oh, I also use the nook app to get books for my son as he's just starting to learn to read and they have some nice interactive books for kids his age. |

I have a Samsung series 7 tablet running the full Win 8 release. I use it for everything but phone calls. From full video editing, writing code, creating documents, ...... (everything). I would love to see a Metro based Crunchyroll app:)

I use my ipad for games mostly. If i dont feel like turning on my PC or laptop, ill just browse the net on the ipad.

I have six tablets all together now.....I mostly use 5 of them to test new APK's and roms that we make.... Cyanogenmod mostly... new kernel and kernel fixes......I have my main tablet which is a GT-P3113 wifi only.... and I use it for adb over network, drupol, terminal when I'm not around a computer, tapatalk (so I can keep in touch with my XDA mates and anime-sharing), and most of all watch anime till my battery drops to 0...

I've got a tablet but it overheats allot, learn your lesson after buying the right kind of tablets. The android OS series are a confusing mix on what plays better with which apps. I dont like the fact that their not all compatible but other then that I usually play games or read manga, mainly if i cant be arsed going onto my PC.
