I just want to be able to buy a console, any console, and buy the games I like for it and enjoy gaming. I personally like PS3 the most in this generation of systems. It plays movies, games, and music. That's all I want and need from it. Aside from that, I like PC more because it's more flexible. Although, the 360 controller is a very nice controller and I enjoy it when gaming on PC.
If every game was available for PC, I would never bother with consoles. I would build a high end gaming PC, hook it up to a tv, get three more controllers, and be done with it. Especially if every game had minimum requirements that had the same restrictions as PS3 to have it play on par with PS3. That would boost the life of the gaming PC for as long as PS3 exists. With the choice of increasing the performance of the game's potential at anytime with the appropriate upgrades. No doubt, that would be the only gaming machine for me.
