We were burning the midnight oil.
All Anime has been re-encoded, we're now working on the Drama portion of our content. :)

I think we guessed outwards just to be safe.

I just joined this site and got it on my PS3, thanks for the awesome selection of Anime. But there is a problem I have seen already, when watching Naruto Shippuden episode 3, the audio and subtitles move way ahead of the animation. I was wondering if there was a download to fix this or something. Just wondering since I am a new member here.

Medaka Box episode 9 doesn't work
Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere s1ep4 skips ahead without pushing the button

Otherwise outstanding app 10 times better than when you first started.

Try exiting and restarting the app. I turned on my PS3 to check Medaka Box episode 9 for you and it would not play or me either. In fact, no videos were playing for me, I would just get a black screen when I tried to play a video. I then closed the app and opened it again and that time I was able to get episode 9 to play and everything else played as well.

The app also froze on me the second time, however I hit the PS button on the controller and after about 20 seconds the system unfroze and the XMB came up. I closed the XMB (left the app running) and was able to continue using it normally and it played back videos fine after the freeze.

Queen's Blade 2 appears to need re-encoding, it's skipping (just watched episodes 5 and 6). It's the usual problem where backing up and re-watching the same part still skips, so I don't think it's an internet burp. I hope it's not being left out of the PS3 re-encoding due to a mature content misunderstanding, since Hulu+ and Netflix both have the same series (not to mention a ton of other mature content).

I just thought I say something but Sket Dance doesn't work on the app every time I try to get into the episode page it says unable to retrieve data. please try again.

I'm not sure if this is a PS3 only issue but episode 10 of Sword Art Online is horribly pixelated. I'm not expecting 720p but definitely something better than a PSP video upscaled on my TV

I subscribed to Crunchyroll for the PS3 and for the simulcast anime, such as Sword Art Online, but whenever a new episode is available it doesn't load up on the PS3 until an hour and when it does the quality is very low! So I have to wait for an hour or 2 for the quality to be good. Can this be fixed so I can have the episode ready to go when it's available and not have to wait?

I have recently signed up for Crunchyroll's anime services on my PS3. i really like it so far, but i have one issue that i can't seem to pinpoint why it happens. after watching 1 or 2 videos, the program will automatically crash if i try to start up another video. it will work fine for another couple of videos after restarting the program, then it will crash again. i don't know if this is a known bug or anything, so i thought i would share my experience. i have a PS3 120gb slim with the latest firmware, and I have DSL that I am connecting to via WiFi.

There is currently up to a 7 hour delay from when an episode is available on the site for it to be available on other devices, such as the PS3. CR is currently looking into ways to reduce the time and make episodes available across all devices at the same time.

The reason why you see a low quality video first is because CR encodes several different versions of each video for each device. IE, a low quality, medium quality, and high quality version so that the app can switch between the three (Or how ever many quality levels they actually have) depending on your connection speed. Low quality video encodes the quickest which is why you are seeing the low quality video first. As the higher quality videos finish encoding your video quality increases.

I haven't used the app for a while but I tried it again tonight since I didn't feel like getting up and getting the Roku remote and I was able to watch like 3 episodes in a row with no issues.

Now, I need to figure out how to disable the autoplay.
