Should be fine for 720p!

What show / episode are you watching. The other thing is if we do not have a show available in 720p it will play back at the highest resolution available.

Also, is your device running on Wi Fi or is it connected via Ethernet cable?

Unable to use the PS3 app since its initial release.

System will freeze for 15-20sec when I select an episode to watch, then does nothing.

Gen 1 PS3, system updated to current version.
Attempted to watch random episodes and selection from queue.
Logged Out/In several times to my CR acct.
Uninstalled/Re-installed CR app several times over the past few months.
Wired connection, 10.6MB/s down, 1.3MB/s up

Any suggestions regarding how to troubleshoot this is appreciated. Thanks

What shows are you trying to watch? Are they mature titles?

Follow these instructions and then try the app again to see if the shows work.

Thank you for those instructions. I did follow them to the letter. Unfortunately, I am still unable to play any anime with the PS3 app.

Some of the series I attempted to watch are Space Brothers, Blast of Tempest, and Shin Sekai Yori.

Would you have any other suggestions?

I cant wait til they introduce this to Australia, i use CR ps3 App but it plays very pixelated :/ so for now i use my laptop connected to my big screen just to get good HD xD

I kinda agree with you on that, but maybe it was too early for CN to release this App, for most people outside US and idk about you but it doesn't play HD and for others it crashes but i think they mentioned their HD being only exclusive in the US and Canada, but if this really doesn't work for most users i think it should be reconsidered otherwise.

Sorry, there is nothing else I can provide as you seem to already have done everything I was going to recommend.

Are you in the US or Canada? The app is only supported in NA.

You quoted a post I made several months ago. CR has since updated the app to stream 720p HD. As long as your internet connection is fast enough, the app should automatically adjust the video quality to HD.

However, it appears that you are trying to use the app outside of NA. Currently CR only supports the app for US and Canada so they can't really be of any help if you are trying to use the app outside of NA.

So sorry xD i thought this thread was kinda new since im pretty new but i knew what you where saying, and i see that's great then if they updated it for you guys :/ i know ill have to wait but ill still be supporting CN so maybe they might do it for other country's.

Eventually they will release the app for other countries, but right now it is exclusive to the US and Canada.

Also, it is CR not CN. CrunchyRoll

CN makes me think you are referring to Cartoon Network.

Hello there, for my PS3 whenever I try and watch The Pet Girl of Sakurasou in my queue a black screen comes up and I am forced to turn my system off, and then when i try and seach for the anime it doesnt even show up in the seach bar.
PLEASE FIX SOON!

I was watching Blast of Tempest, but it's okay; it's working now. Thanks for helping.
