So I had to come on my pc to mess with my account settings which was a real turn off. Tried to watch some other anime shows and got a "data could not be received" message which was irritating. The final straw was when I tried to watch an episode of queens blade and my ps3 hard crashed while either trying to load an episode or browse through the episode queue. Tons of problems and not worth the hassle. Im sad I won't be using crunchyroll because Netflix just isn't doing it for my anime fix (their selection is poor and is hardly ever updated), but this wonky app isn't helping either. Oh well. Wireless or Wi Fi? It works infinitely better over a wired connection. Looks like you figured out the Sony Mature issue and how to get Mature titles to show up. You can also try setting up Static IP or Automatic DNS to see if this resolves the issue. I took my PS3 off wireless and directly connected it to the router. Same thing happens after 3 episodes. Just started the black screen hard reset game again...

On Ps3. Sometimes when I watch a video, it stops for 3 seconds then continue, and again stops for 3 seconds, a great loop. Is this common?

I gotcha! I sent all that information to you through private message...I wasn't entirely sure about the information being displayed so I wasn't comfortable publicly posting it =D You can just respond with your findings/suggestions here though if it would help anyone else having these same problems!

Currently using this on a wireless connection & getting 10 mbps, according to the ps3 speed test.I've run a mtr & a dns test and everything is fine.I used the cp150757.edgefcs.net to test latency/routing.

I'm really not quite sure what to tell you. There is a memory issue where you do need to restart the whole machine after awhile. But when I had the PS3 up and running at a convention it was after 5 hours of playback that I needed to do a restart on the machine. Have you tried a clean uninstall / reinstall? Do you find this happening only on shows that are in your queue? |

I'll make myself more clear.The issue is scrolling through the episodes in my queue cause's the PS3 to black screen/hard lock.If you weren't sure what my issue was,then why did you have me try what you suggested?Also if cp150757.edgefcs.net is not the server you stream the PS3 from,then what is the correct url/ip?This is info. that should already be in your FAQ so people can use it to diagnose issues.

You did not quote my response so I thought you had just posted new. v1.lln.crunchyroll.com is what you need to test against. However the black screen while scrolling is a known issue and is a bad cached file. Uninstall and then reinstall the app. |
