ChronicSmile 52 cr points Send Message: F / Balamb Garden Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 12/9/12, edited 12/9/12 I've been trying for 2 days now to watch the newest episodes of Sword Art Online and Say "I love you" and every time the eps will play for a few seconds and then hang up buffering indefinitely after which it either crashes back to the queue, or it plays a few more seconds and then crashes back to the queue. I decided to give up on these two shows and tried some of my other shows that ive been watching and the same thing is happening. Basically the performance of this app on PS3 has degenerated to the point where I'm thinking of canceling. I've already gotten tired of the crashing and freezing to a black screen if I attempt to scroll through episodes, but now I can't even watch at all. If it doesn't get resolved soon its going to be a waste of monthly subscription because I don't prefer viewing on ios or pc. It's a bummer because I really like this app a lot when it actually functions. I have the 160 GB Slim, wireless cable connection.

InvalidToken 4007 cr points Send Message: 18 / M Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 12/10/12 It seems that the app does not fully support older tv's (Old sony tv which uses CRT) as the app itself is only in black and white (that includes anime). I've tried other TV's which are HDMI and SCART compatible and the app had full colour. Replacing the cable did not help either. Is there some obvious fix to the black and white problem (only on the CR app) and I'm just being a moron, or is it actually not supported?

When crunchyroll.com was out of service last night the app would cause the PS3 to lock up. I could only manually power off and on to restore the PS3. The app would start with the splash screen for about 30 seconds, followed by a short beep and then a blank screen. The PS3 would not respond to the controller at all. I hope the app can be updated to fix this problem. At least I know what to check for the next time it happens.

Android but I couldn't see it on my ps3. What should I do... I already signed out and signed back in... Also I deleted the app and re downloaded it but same thing happened...please help I don't know what to do. Please I have a ps3 slim and its a wired connection. I really don't want to cancel my subscription.

Please Most likely, this is a problem with your mature content setting. Go to your video settings and enable mature content. The shows should then show up.

The problem with older PS3's maybe that the app is too picture heavy and it can't take it so maybe more lists of shows in a season instead of pictures in the future, might fix the problems? I'm not sure. There is an issue with a memory leak that the CR app developers are trying to fix that is causing most of the crashes. It seems that it is a bug that originates from the OS, so it is taking them a while to patch. The current work around is to restart the PS3 often while using the app. (Every other episode or so).

Android does not require an age restriction thus the episodes are not blocked in the app, even if the filter is set to block mature content. The CR website also does not have an age restriction, which is why the filter does not effect the web site either.
