What is the issue exactly?

Video would play then pause and then skip to the end, I'm going to try a new router tomorrow just cause I think this one i have is garbage

Is something happening with the ps3 app the video is stopping and starting as if my download is too slow but I get a 35mbs down and 15mbs up.

I know you mentioned earlier that you can't zoom in HD, but what happens when you keep hitting the zoom button and cycle through the different views? On my Samsung TV the "zoom" button is called P. Size (short for Picture Size) and it will eventually cycle through to a complete full screen view, instead of a "Cinema" zoom type crop field that looks like what your TV is set to. It works with the display set at 1080p as well.


P.Size only cycles through 4:3 and 16:9 in HDMI. My TV is over 5 years old and only goes up to 1080i (sort of lol). I think I just have to get a new TV, one that maps pixels 1:1. Ah well :)

The reason I didn't really notice it before in games and such, is that apparently game developers work within a "safe zone."

Does the ps3 app evergo down to sd quality? Because I have a pretty poor Internet connection and it works great on my ipad going down to sd quality when needed but doesn't seem to on ps3

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but whenever I try to select the first episode of Medaka Box season 2, the app crashes the entire Playstation 3. From My Queue to the More Options screen and Videos, either scrolling with through each episode or hitting R2 to get to the next section of videos, there is a informational sound effect, a black screen and the system becomes unresponsive. I see the same behavior with Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere.

I'm not sure if this situation is unique to me but it's happened three times in succession today. I have Hiiro no Kakera on my queue. I press the Square button to check out the full episode list and as I scroll through the episode list the Crunchyroll app just shuts down (black screen) and freezes my system.

Anyone else experience this and if so, is there going to be a fix?

EDIT:

It just happened AGAIN. I'm currently on episode 12 of Hiiro no Kakera. When I scroll through the episode list, once I'm on the tile that says "Episode 11" the app crashes and along with it, my PS3. I have to press the power button each time and restart. Since I've been "able" to reproduce this problem four times in row I'd say there's definitely some bug in there.

When I quit a video to go back to the main menu of the app it shows the menu for a second but after it's only black and I can't do a thing with the PS3 and must force the power off. It's happened several times this week. I also deleted the app, download, install, but the black screen is still there. And i'm wired.

Hopefully someone from support actually reads through these posts as the issue I reported is still happening (see my previous post). Also, when I'm selecting an episode to watch from my queue, it will act as if loading the episode but it will shift back to my queue and then the app just crashes. In some cases I have to force a restart of my console.

Yes this app is totally broken, it's rare that I'm able to watch it without it stuttering every few seconds. Their lucky it works for my Xbox, but even that wont go to HD, it stays at 1 bar, it works though lol. At least Hulu can serve my HD and non-stutter needs.
