Hmmm I'm seeing other people with the same problem I have. If i watch during the day, its usually fine, but once the evening comes around, it skips insanely, or just wont even play at all.

Its definitely not my internet connection cause like i said, it works fine during the day, and i have a 35mb connection, and its wired in. Annoying cause I just bought the yearly subscription for crunchyroll and then this problems goes and gets even worst.

I have no sound at all. That's persisting from at least a week ago. Tried it on two different TVs and nothing.

This same problem happens to my TV, but my headset works fine. Check your audio output on your ps3, that is the only other suggestion that comes to mind.

Now to my problems... and they have been mentioned before by others and I have sent help requests to CR help, but first:
Original PS3, 80 GB, external hard drive 2TB, wifi (secured), current CR app version 1.01, internet provider:Clear unlimited
Problems: all of the above, except the cropping issues + after 5 mins. Skips to next episode even when controller is turned off(controller issues)

My ps3 messed up the other day and logged out of psn account, but cr app worked fine, perfect even. Has this happened to anyone else?

A couple of enhancement requests:

1. The ability to navigate anime by season. This is available on the CR website, mobile apps, and 360 app. Not sure why it's omitted from the PS3 app. Would love to have it on my PS3.

2. Anime video thumbnail tiles should show whether or not an episode has been watched and how much of it has been watched. Similar to the website and 360 app. Sometimes it's difficult to remember where I left off in a series and this functionality is a godsend for getting my bearings straight.

Randomly during my video the audio cuts out and im have to pause it for a while or rewind it. This just recently started happening but its pretty annoying. I can leave it paused for hours and when i press play the adio will still stop within 1 minute. Also when i exit a video on accident and come back i wish it would play from where i exited like on my phone.
If u hold any button down it will continue the same action. circle button the menu will continue to pop up and close, i wish it would just stay until i pressed it again because im pressing it for a tad to long and it instantly closes on me.

No that doesn't help. I mean anything else than Crunchyroll works perfectly fine soundwise.

[EDIT] Seems even tech support have no clue. Made be go from Wi-Fi to wired connection? WTF lol.

I'm just trying to help.

Connecting an Ethernet cable was to see if you were getting a poor stream and if a solid connection resolved that and restored sound.

I have had no one else report this problem.

I'm working with a colleague as well to try to help resolve this.

Lately I have found that during peak hours, I have trouble loading the app, but after every normal person goes to sleep I have no problems

I too still face the issue of the app crashing my PS3 when pressing Square to browse videos. It's been that way for a while now, and is currently the only real issue I have with the app right now.

Playback is generally smooth, except in one or two minor cases where the show randomly ended after about 8 minutes, and moved on to the next episode.

ive been using this app on the ps3 for about a week now. It randomly skip, if not then it sometimes wont load and after any of these issue starts the app would crash. This cant be a connection issue because hulu plus, and netflix was running smoothly and perfectly on the same ps3.

Anybody having issues where the sub titles and the sound are not in sync? I can play maybe two or three anime and then it seems like its slowing down or something like that.

The app for the PS3 is complete garbage. Wasn't going to renew again, but then I got a free month and was impressed by it. Well, I made a complete ass of myself and went right back to paying for it. Guess what? Doesn't work. Every time I try clicking square to go to the show selections, it'll make a weird 'bloop' noise, go to a black screen and cause a hardware lock, causing me to hard reset the PS3. That's fantastic, huh? Not only that, if I just click on a show to watch it, it's jagged and skips, or just plain stops, sometimes the show stops while the audio continues. It's not my Internet, so please don't give me that baloney. I want a refund or I will be making a report to the BBB. The product is non-functional for the purpose it is intended for, there are enough complaints to build a case, CR pushed an app out that seldom works on the PS3. As a user from day one of the PS3 app, I can say that honestly enough.
