Hello,
I just bought a Samsung BD-E5900/ZA, which is listed as supporting the app. I am looking through the Samsung app store on my television but I do not see the Crunchyroll app... interestingly, I believe Funimation has an app and I do not see that either. I have made all the necessary updates but with no luck. What am I doing wrong? Thank you! |

I also bought a samsung BD-E5900/ZC and i can't see the crunchyroll apps. This is brand new, just receive it yesterday. Is it because i'm in Canada. Contact Samsung support, they said it doesn't support the apps. They didn't seem to know it existed. I'm not a premium member, does it make a difference? Will be as soon as can make the apps work. Do we need to download the apps? Thank you.

how do you know if it's a 2011 or 2012? where do you look for that?. I just bought it yesterday, brand new. do you need to be a premium member to see the apps. I know to use it, but i don't want to be a premium member and then it doesn't work. I don't want to watch it on my computer I want to watch on the tv. If that doesn't work, i will look in other ways to see anime on tv, but i would really prefer crunchyroll.

It is available on your device. You have a 2012 model. You can get more information on how to download it on your device here: http://www.samsung.com/us/appstore/app/G00005284943 |

Did that, doesn't work.
2 things: 1st, do you need to be a premium member to see the apps. I know i need to be premium to use it, but do i need it to see it? 2nd, i have a a model that end with /ZC and not /ZA like in the us (they only sell ZC in Canada). Does that make a difference? Like i said Samsung Canada say they don't have apps for crunchyroll |

Like i said Samsung Canada say they don't have apps for crunchyroll App is available worldwide. You should be able to sign up for a trial directly from the app. If you can not find it in the marketplace, perhaps contact Samsung for assistance in how to download the app on your device? |

Like I said before, i contacted Samsung Canada and they said they don't have the app on any model of their Samsung product. If you have anyone I can contacted at Samsung or the person in Crunchyroll that arranged that with Samsung, I would be very happy. Obviously, there is a glitch or somebody has the wrong information.

Hey!
I'm trying the app on my tv now for a couple of days. Most of it works really nice. However, I do have a small issue I'd like to mention. When watching Gundam Wing the aspect ratio is off. If I watch it on the PC I get it properly in 4:3, but on the tv it's stretched to the full display and there seems to be no way to adjust that. Would be nice if this could be addressed |

Hi, it would seem that there is a bug when trying to play BTOOOM! on my samsung UN40ES6500. It doesn't leave the queue menu but I can't move around the menu until I hit the back button. This has been the case since the series started 11 weeks ago.

Go here and make sure you have a birth date set - http://www.crunchyroll.com/editprofile/?tab=basic Step two! Go here and make sure you have 'Show Mature Content' enabled - https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/?action=video Step three! (Not Mandatory) Add it to your Queue. This should enable playback for the show. |

A question for smart TV users. From what I've read, currently the 720p and 1080p streams are not available for the smart TV. It seems only 720p is available for PS3. Some people have said that they get better quality by hooking up their computer and playing HD instead of 480p from the samsung app. Since the smart TV has a built in browser and supports flash, is it possible to load 1080p streams on the browser and watch? This would prevent the hassle of needing to hook up the computer if you did want to watch HD quality on the TV, or am I missing something and this wouldn't work?
