Did you ever find yourself?

Few people truly ever find themselves. I'm not one of them.

I'm actually very comfortable and confident in my own skin.
I only find myself doing this is when I'm mocking or making fun of someone. Which ironically happens quite often.

I hate when I'm walking behind someone who walks funny and I start walking like them

You might want to check out something called Erikson's stages of psychosocial development, more specifically the Identity vs. Role Confusion section which I've linked you to.

Finding yourself, as you put it, is a very personal process. You're going through a period of constant physical and mental change, so the best thing to do would be to embrace it and continue at your own pace. Stay away from recreational drugs while you're at it.

Also, for your own enjoyment and self-expression purposes, I'd suggest you sign up to some sort of drama club. Continue playing around with different characters and build up your confidence; eventually you should be comfortable enough playing just as yourself. That would be a milestone in the process of self-discovery.

Almost forgot to mention. This won't go as smoothly as I described - expect to be punched in the gut a few times.

Same, I'm always alone. mostly my fault since I've isolated myself to this degree.

You don't just "find" yourself.
Life is a accumulation of experiences, and you'll continue to level up and gain experience as you go.
Even if you've "found" yourself, you'll continue to grow and change for good, or for worse.

Did you mean for that to sound the way it reads? Just wondering.

Finding yourself is really more about accepting yourself. We are hardly ever what we want to be. We all fantasize about being something else and some people fantasize about being who and what we are.

Your boyfriend or girlfriend may want you to act different while their friend is wishing they had you... We always want something else and we always want to be something else.

What's important is being comfortable with yourself. Once you accept your own faults, you will begin to grow as a person. That growth will fill your emptiness.
