Yeah, I'm getting this day 1 for sure. It looks really fun and it improves on aspects where Blazblue really needed to (gameplay wise). I think a lot of people will have fun with it.
I wouldn't mind seeing a DLC character or two down the road, but since they're saying everything is canon, I'm not sure if it will happen or not.

Oh wow it comes out tomorrow.
It looks awesome though I'm not at all really that familiar with the series. Kinda made me think of Blazblue when I looked at gameplay.
I'm thinking I'll probably pick up Persona 4 Golden for the vita. Then see how the series is through that and maybe pick up Persona 4 Arena as the price will most likely have dropped by then.
Are any of the other games worth checking out? And if so what console?

Got the game, looks awesome. There's also some semblance of a story which surprises me, although im only a few chapters into Yus' story. Praise the Sun.

P4Arena is a great fighter. I had a lot of fun just going into Network Matches and getting my ass handed to me, with Story Mode and Arcade Mode both being great in their own right. As far as the story goes, I am impressed with its multiple story line interaction between all the characters as well as the overall ending.

Haha yeah I picked it up too. I was playing with a couple friends and I swear we were all just mashing buttons like crazy trying to figure out what we were doing hahaha. It's fun though and I love the presentation and ability to be able to switch between the japanese language and english. Also the story seems interesting. I never played any other persona games though. But I like this one.

So after doing a few characters stories, i must say i really like this game. Everyone has there own chapter. A well done fighting system. I still have much to learn though.

I have to say this game is really good, which I wasn't expecting given that it is the first time the IP is being used for a fighting game. To practice the combos you can play the practice mode for that. I think that the story mode is really good, and a lot of fun, granted that may just be because I prefer games with a good storyline, instead of a straight up fighting game, though if you're the latter I doubt you would be dissapointed.

I just picked this game up the other day. I haven't played online or story mode, just versus. So far, my first impression is that its not so much as technical as Street Fighter AE its more of a masher but nothing ridiculous like MVC3. I like it, very fun.
Actually I did start story mode but it tooook so effing long, i swear it was like 20-30 mins of just text.

The game is great ! I had pre-ordered it and was excited about popping it in and give it a spin. What I like is that you can switch the audio to the original Japanese and follow with English subs. The game play is awesome, and the design is jazzy just like the original P4  Now I just have to find time to play it more...Thanks job for getting in the way. lol. |
