Persona 4 Arena

It's pretty good but it has some balancing issues. I'm not a huge fan of the easy overhead or light button/auto combo mash as well as how the layout this game has.

Where's Megaman!?

The only thing I really hated about the game was the story mode. I mean, the story itself is great, and it had a lot of fantastic moments, but... Wow, the execution was just bad. It's the same problem I have with BlazBlue's story mode, where it's too much (admittedly well written) exposition, too little fighting.
But aside from that, it was a nice holdover til Tag 2 dropped. Naoto's so much fun, it's insane. |

I wanted this thing so badly... but the only current-gen console I own is a Wii. I legitimately considered buying it and camping out at my friend's house for like a week to play it on her PS3... didn't go through with it, though. Guess all I can do is dream...

So this basically what you're saying I don't like Visual Novels It's not that the story was badly executed, it's just that you don't like the format on how it's told. |

It's not even that to be honest. I love a good visual novel at times. The Phoenix Wright series is one of my all-time faves. It's just that I don't want a visual novel when I'm in the mood for fighting.
The story itself is really well written though, and I especially loved Naoto and Kanji's storylines. |

So then you prefer CGI cutscenes? Elizabeth is personally the best story for me, especially her ending and how it's hinted she is the possible protagonist for Persona 5. |

Coming from a Tekken/Street Fighter/etc. viewpoint, yeah, just something quick and to the point. But then again we get that in arcade mode, so...
I do like the Persona 5 hinting in the endings though. All these people potentially coming back for that (instead of doing the Final Fantasy "new universe every game" thing) makes me incredibly happy. |

A new antagonist, Minato still being alive and the setting returning back to Port island is exciting. Looking forward to both the soundtrack and the artwork. |

I wonder if Naoto will end up using her Persona X Detective redesign for P5. That'd be neat to see (and HILARIOUS reading the reaction to on Tumblr).

I don't think the Persona 4 cast will have a huge role in Persona 5, maybe supporting characters. I'm more looking forward to seeing how Elizabeth will develop here on out or if there will be a new protagonist MC entirely that will be part of the plot |

I personally thought that the beginning of Elizabeth's story totally ruined the purpose of Persona 3 FES: The Answer, as well as probably The Journey. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I mean, she defeated a copy of the final boss from The Answer in a single hit; and it was probably a good 25x as big as the original one. ._. If she were to just leave the Velvet Room in P3 on January 1st, she'd've been able to kill Nyx probably instantly. ._.' |

Beat Tubba Blubba and General Guy in 35 minutes. Awesome? Oh yeah. Sad? Oh yeah.

The Great Seal is blocking Erebos from possessing Nyx, At it's current state the only thing it can do is struggle to open the door and if defeated "Reanimate" itself every year and a half (from the hate from of human race) and Elizabeth destroys it in it's weaken state in order to stop it from causing less pain to Minato since he is technically still alive, his soul just left his body. Minato is like Sam from Supernatural when his soul is in Hell. |

If you train a bit and learn how to escape those comboes, people who just mash X will be no problem for you I think. Anyway, if you put a little bit more effort into it and try to learn and execute more complex comboes, you will definitely be rewarded with more damage and an enemy who's moral won't be the best after executing a 10-hit combo which costs the half life bar, haha |

Wasn't supposed to? Whatever. As servants of Philemon, they are not supposed to take action on their own. They're supposed to nurture and raise those to who have potential to reach. At some point, after The Answer, she decided to abandon her duties and work to protect what Minato Arisato 'gave his life' to protect. Over the course of P4A, she learned more and more what was going through his head, and as she began to understand she awoke to her own arcana, as her journey began. TL;DR: She was never supposed to leave, and doing so is kinda...going against the god that created her. Even so, she decided to do it. That make sense? |
