Thanks for the effort already put into the PS3 app. I thought I would list a couple of suggestions that, in my opinion, would make the app even better (and apologies, it's just faster to write them out in the imperative):

[*] There should be some sort of confirmation before exiting a playing video
[*] Allow the D-pad left/right to skip in 30 second increments (ideal for skipping OP and ED songs)
[*] Allow stream quality to be selected. I would rather wait for 1080p or 720p content to load than to get downgraded to something less than standard definition
[*] It's too easy to logout, and not easy enough to log back in. If you're going to one-click logout, at least remember my username...
[*] Buffer the stream on disk (at least for the duration of the viewing). Rewinding should should not cause the stream to re-seek if I've just watched that part a few seconds ago.
[*] Browse views (for both genres and series views) should be in grid format for faster navigation
[*] Episode should show how much has been watched so I have an idea of where I left off in a series

Thanks again!

For the future, it would be best to post suggestions in the stickied PS3 thread at the top of the Help forum. http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-771376/playstation-3

You can use the PS3's auto complete functionality to do this. As soon as I type the first character of my username the auto complete list on the on screen keyboard shows my username I use to log in. I then just select it from the list and it fills out the rest of the name for me.

[*] Allow the D-pad left/right to skip in 30 second increments (ideal for skipping OP and ED songs)

This is something that has been suggested in the PS3 Thread. If enough people ask for it CR may implement this feature in a future patch.

[*] Allow stream quality to be selected. I would rather wait for 1080p or 720p content to load than to get downgraded to something less than standard definition

Again, something else that others have suggested in the PS3 thread that could possibly be implemented in the future if it is even possible for CR to do. Also, currently there is no HD streaming for the PS3. CR said that HD streaming for the PS3 will come later this year.

[*] Buffer the stream on disk (at least for the duration of the viewing). Rewinding should should not cause the stream to re-seek if I've just watched that part a few seconds ago.

I'm not really sure what you mean. The app currently already does this (at least for me). If I tap the L2 button to go back a few seconds the video plays immediately and does not have to reload the video.

[*] Episode should show how much has been watched so I have an idea of where I left off in a series

This is something that I personally brought up in the PS3 thread and so have a few other people. Hopefully this was something added to the update that CR sent to Sony a couple days ago. We have to wait for Sony to approve the new update before we can find out.

Also the app is suppose to automatically resume where you last left off but instead it starts from the beginning of the video. I brought this up several days ago and hope that it was fixed in the update that CR sent to Sony.
