Perhaps i should said "like" photosynthesis. It's only like it in the way that our bodies use the UV light and it is converted by our bodies, but anyway osteopenia is why we don't send people into space all the time. Seriously, a long enough trip can ruin your life.

Haha, yeah that makes sense man, I was just being a little facetious.

And true, bone degeneration is a huuuge obstacle to overcome for human space travel.

Have you seen 2001: A Space Odyssey? It would make a lot of sense to have a spaceship that can rotate and spin while it travels through space so that the astronauts inside experience "artificial gravity." That way our bones can experience a similar type of stress and workload so they don't start losing mass and structural strength.

I'm no aeronautics engineer so I don't know much about the constraints of designing such a ship, but it would be pretty awesome.

Yeah, once again, we are using our resources on things that do not mean anything to me and countless others. How about some exploration of our own bodies and our own planet? Seriously delusional sheeple.

People we have never stopped exploring Earth, 44% is still unexplored. That's why places like http://NOLS.edu and http://AMGA.com exist. There are thousands of private foundations that do a much better job of of health and anatomic research than our government. These foundations do receive governement funding though.

Did you know NASA funding is cut? The entire space shuttle fleet is decommissioned. Gone! Scrapped! The hubble telescope, Gone, Scrapped! Most of NASA's programs are funded by Universities, and what they make from patents. NASA owns patents, yep.

My biggest concern is what JFK would say if he heard you today.

We've already had a human land on Mars. Chuck Norris went to Mars, that's why there are no more signs of life.
