Not at all. But I'm super interested in all religions, so if I'm invited to a get together, I usually go.

No, agnostic atheist.

I would much prefer a world without organized religion.

Officially, I'm Jewish. I don't really believe in god or any of that stuff, but I do love my religion.

I really like the community which comes with my religion and the friends I make. Services are nice and make you think and appreciate stuff a lot more.

Either way, I see nothing wrong with religion. As long as you're not trying to shove it up my butt.

I suppose you could call me "religious". I am also of the mindset that religion and science are not, and do not have to be, mutually exclusive of one another.

It kinda comes down to what you define as religious, because I prefer to think of myself as spiritual. I go to church as often as I can (which is every Sunday that I'm not at Drill), follow that up with some bible study, and spend a good deal of time volunteering for various councils and committees in the larger church.

But the expirences that I value most is the time I spend alone, contemplating my views. My faith makes up a large part of who I am and who I am not. It gives me strenght, courage, and hope. It sends me into motion and guides me to the highest path. It sets me free and saves my soul from needless suffering. I guess if ever there were ever any reasons to why I believe, it would boil down to these simple thoughts.

I know I'm an oddity for my generation. But thats just what makes me unique I suppose.

I believe that every person is their own god. However, gods influence each other.

Christians and Jews believe that we were made in the image of God, and given free will. For free will to have meaning, that means that God doesn't override it, or, rather, that we have some measure of independence from even God himself.

But we are all pretty damn screwed up, and I don't like the idea of any of us considering ourselves a God. That way is a way of destruction.

It is true that manifesting a god complex can make the person with it blind to the conditions around. I also don't exactly speak of all people being a carbon copy of the Christian God or Judaic Yahweh. If you should fancy yourself a "god," at least try to treat others with kindness, while keeping what's happening in your life and realistic sphere of influence in check.

Religion doesn't exist
Posted 10/28/12
I'm not that religious (not a devotee) but I'm a theist..
I'm kinda heretic to my religion but I don't plan on converting to another, either.
In my belief, God is always there whatever religion you are in.
So it doesn't matter if you're religious or not cause He is always there. Sometimes, we're just ignorant to feel Him.
That's just my humble opinion. I hope I didn't offend other religions and such

religion says DO but Jesus says DONE

Religion says SLAVE. Jesus says SON

Religion puts you in bondage but Jesus sets you free.

Religion makes you blind. Jesus makes you see

Thats why religion and god are two seperate things.

religion is man searching for God. Christianaty is GOD SEARCHING FOR MAN.

I'm sorry but this is extremely scary to me. Christianity is a religion. It's just a modified Judaism and has the same God. Therefore who would be correct? Judaism follows the original practices while Christianity has been modified so that it's more acceptable.

I really don't get why people decide that Christianity is better than Judaism or Islam. They all worship the same God but hate each other and say that they're wrong. Christianity is currently the largest religion; Judaism is the root of Christianity and Islam; and I don't really know enough about Islam to comment about it, I am interested in it though from a scholar's point of view.

Blind faith is something that nobody should have. Ask as many questions about anything that piques your curiosity until you get the answer yourself. If someone tells you not to think certain things or ask certain questions then you shouldn't ever trust that person. This is the reason why I have no faith. Too many people have said that I'm asking the "wrong questions" when asking about my faith when I was a child. There are no wrong questions, never think that you have to think a certain way just because your beliefs contradict with it. When a belief contradicts a fact then it is not the fact that is wrong.

First if you didnt understand what my message ment than thats your fault.
secondly i do not have blind faith if you would have read my message better i said RELIGION MAKES YOU BLIND, JESUS MAKES YOU SEE. ive actualy researched the bigbang, evolution, lots of religions and even ISLAM. All the things are built on stupid theories and if you think me loving jesus is scary than read into islam, that is some scary shit, here is one of the verses out of thequaren(thier bible)

Did you know - Quran (4:34) orders a man to beat his wife if she doesn't obey him?

Quran 4:34: Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in their sleeping places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.

Now what if i told you ive seen the way god works. you would say thats bull, so i wont tell you.
Your probably thinking this is my personality(tries to be perfect, always shoves religion down other peoples throats, snotty, and even blind.
If that is what you think you are mistaken, i probably make a thousand more mistakes than you. Your obviously smarter than me(ive made a bunch of errors in this message). You are probably even a better person than me, But what if your wrong, what if there is a jesus who got beat and killed for us. What kind of person are you than. You know what he said ''forgive them father for they know not what they've done''. im not shoving my religion down anybodys throat im just defending myself. Here is more stuff on islam
http://www.apostatesofislam.com/apostates/abulk/articles/whyislamiswrong.htm

It's understandable that you'd defend your religion, but you have misunderstood my intentions. I was only saying that Christianity is still a religion and that it was originally part of a different religion. We are not supposed to worship anyone other than God according to Christian beliefs yet people continue to pray to Jesus and his mother, Mary.

It's good that you actually studied other theories though, not many religious people seem to accept anything that goes against their religion. I wouldn't say that I'm smarter than you, the only difference between you and me that I know of is that I don't believe in God the same way as you. I want to believe that he exists but there is no proof either way so I can not say for certain if he truly does exist. I only hope that blind faith disappears from the face of our planet since it causes incidences like the Westboro Baptist Church and the Crusades.

I suppose I do have to apologize for misunderstanding your first post though.

I have always believed in god, but I have never been there for religion. I don't believe in churches or preachers... I believe that there is one creator and that is god.

About a year ago I discovered the name of my belief... I believe in Deism, so I am Deist.

"People who believe in god, but not religion"
