Personally, I'm a Disciple of Christ. I highly dislike and disapprove of structured religion, it brings glory to man; i.e. "i'm a good christian because I go to church on Sunday and Tuesdays" Personal salvation is found within the heart and mind not the words and actions.
Christians, (lets ignore the Westboro variety for the moment) are commonly very polite and well mannered to strangers and friends alike.
So why is that bad?
The Agnostic crowd on the other hand is usually the near opposite (although there are some contrary to this)

Parting note, I've never from my experience of 12 years have had a civil debate from anybody that claims to be Agnostic, (there is no Atheist, you have zero proof of nothing)

Matthew 12:34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
which is usually why it's always hard to find a good debate partner

As long as you aren't gay or of a different faith Christians are very polite. Of course they seem polite to you, they agree with your beliefs.

The same could be said of Democrats, only if you merely disagree with anything in the liberal agenda

Nah not really. My family is christian and all the "god" talk annoys me sometimes but I respect their religion if that is what they use to get by in life. I don't mind unless someone tries to shove it down my throat and use that quote "If you don't believe in god then you're going to hell" Those type of people just annoy me so much.

So a religion is identical to a political belief? Gotcha.

Jesus: Dad what's all this?
God: They're Dinosaurs.
Jesus: They're Monsters!
God: What? I thought I'd start off with Monsters.

In a sense, yes, It's a held belief; a mindset that one lives by.

Figured that was kinda obvious Bro.

I was just making sure, although i'm pretty sure most liberals don't claim that "God" wants them to be liberal or support issues like gay rights.

According to your original post I got the impression that you believe that most Christians are rational, happy go lucky friendly people while those evil Agnostics were irrational and impossible to civilly have discussions with. Or in other words, it came across as "Christian Persecution Complex" type reasoning.

Then wouldn't that make everyone(athiest, christian, etc..) agnostic since there is no proof for or against a god existing?
