I believe there may be some sort of deity but I don't really consider myself religious.

It was quite funny how you were so sure that there is no such thing as god in this world. You can't just disprove something just because you haven't seen one. You believe in oxygen although you can't even see or touch an oxygen. There are a lot more things that science can't even explain including black holes, supernovas, the Marfa lights, the Bermuda Triangle and the Taos Hum. Despite scientists' best efforts, there are many myths and legends surrounding unexplained natural events. All what science can provide to explain these events are their unproven theories. Science is important since it benefits the masses as well as religion. Saying "religion is a one big fairy tale" shows that you are an idiot. Don't make any arguments without knowing how to back them up because it shows how stupid you are insulting religious people. BTW, i'm not a religious guy although I believe in god.

The word "idiot" suits you well. Back your arguments with your own knowledge artsy

I have a partial belief in something that might possibly be there, but is too vague to be sure of.

I don't get why people say it takes more faith to not believe in God. Theists accuse atheists of having faith for not believing, no that's not faith, that's called knowledge about reality. The only faith that exists is the kind that makes you believe in impossible things that aren't there to begin with.

Nah, I'm agnostic. 'Blind faith' really isn't my forte.

I am an atheist but I don't hate all organized religion just one part, and that is how people have used religion over thousands of years as fuel for hate. For example right now with gay rights, I find it horrid how people do not think that a man and a man, and a woman and a woman can't get married. They have every right to be happy, just because some old book says that it is "wrong" doesn't mean that they have no right to be happy and get married.

If you don't follow along with any spiritual guidance, fine; but you should really watch yourself before you start telling those who do they're wrong. As human beings, we will always be forced to indulge in the materialism known as "reality" (hate that term as it implies something can't be real if you don't see it.) I don't see why that has to mean we can't have any unspecified amount of faith (believing in something on the INSIDE.) Do yourself and everyone else a favor by learning to focus on YOUR life and yours alone - you'll find it much easier than trying to determine the validity of anyone else's (assuming you're incapable of realizing your life is not the same as mine.)

As for me, I tend to believe in the existence of all religions (that, by merely thinking it, it becomes real,) indivisible spiritualism (that religion is an attempt to sum up spirituality based on a few grouped principles when it is infinite,) and/or that we can only believe in whatever truly exists (assuming I do or do not know what that is.)

to say with certainty that there is no God means to give up an intellectual pursuit. Surely there may be no God, but there very well may be. I have my opinions but welcome both sides of the argument. if you close off completely to either side of the argument then you are a FOOOOOOOL.

I'm agnostic, (the lazy man's atheist ) basically I believe there could or could not be a God, and that that answer is unknown. I get religion's purpose and one's need for it, but it's a subject I usually keep clear of. No one ever wins discussing religion, and it can usually just turn into a huge argument.
