That's a load of bullshit. Give me an answer that takes your own brain to figure out. Because the answer you just gave makes you sound like you're a follower rather than believing in what YOU truly believe in.

Answer is simple really, I thought it would be obvious to you already. I don't care what you believe in. But if your beliefs are wrong and others try to misrepresent it as truth, I will voice my disagreement. I have a right to my opinions/views as much as you have a right to yours no matter wrong they are. Stop having such a hissy fit every time anyone disagrees with you. Now get back to studying for SATs because I think higher education will benefit you immensely down the road.

Thought it's not SAT, I'll have you know that I got a 30 on my practice ACT. I think I'll be just fine. In the mean time, how about YOU learn how to get some manners. Whether you decide to voice your opinion or not, that's just fine. But when you start to say that only you are right and being rude about it, is when I have a problem with it.

I've never written anywhere that only I am right. And you are the one who started the rudeness. Your problem is when someone voices a contrary opinion to your own views. Learn to read next time.

I do believe that there is something out there. I do not follow any religion. However, I am very accepting of everyone's faith. I believe it is important to support others in what they feel makes them whole.

There are a lot of questionable deeds that have been done in the name of religion. It's important to move past that and not dwell on the past, but learn from it in hopes of creating a world that is understanding.

Great post. I agree with what you said here.

I used to be very religious. I was born and raised a Christian then studied in Christian schools my entire life. But as I grew older, I became more open to other faiths and started exploring and asking other people. I realized that no one can really say that only one religion is the right religion.

Now, I'd like to say that I am not religious. Rather, I am a spiritual person :)

True on the part I bolded in your quoted post. However, what annoys the crap out of me is how disrespectful religious and non religious people go about questioning the validity of the other. Not referencing you specifically or anything like that, just was browsing and saw that point brought up in your post.

How do you politely and respectfully communicate that you think the bible is full of crap and that religious people are delusional? There really isn't a way. Why is it socially acceptable to publicly profess your faith while stating the opposite viewpoint is considered controversial? It's best to just be honest with others and especially yourself and not worry about what everyone else thinks.

Why do you need to question people's beliefs at all? Why does there need to be judging? Just let people believe in what they want to believe in, period. You come off as rude when you decide that you're the only one that's right and blind idiots need to accept what you, and ONLY YOU, have to say. How's that fair? Why do you feel the need to have to tell people they're wrong just because they have a different way of looking at life?

And also, from your last post, don't act like since I'm young that I don't know anything. Show some respect to a fellow human being

@bensonc120

I think you act more like a young person....actually WaterElixer acts more like a grown person, she is only 15 but she knows a lot and act like an adult.

Even if there was a god. When i die and see them. I will stick my middle finger up and say fuck you. Do you have any idea what it's like to be human ? I'd rather go to hell than have you judge me. But since there isn't any superior beings, my body is just going to decay in the ground

I don't resent anything. I would rather go to hell then spend an eternity with the most oblivious being to exist. =o

It isn't Deism. That is only if there was an actual superior being. I don't believe one actually exist. In my opinion, gods were just a mere imaginative excuse for abnormal events. Or just a way to establish order and power. But who knows, maybe there is actually someone watching over us. If there is, I definitely wouldn't want to be near them, it's just creepy.

I'm not religious and I don't believe there is a god, but I find that most religions have a strong sense of community, that is what I believe to be the structure of modern day religion. Don't get me wrong but people are weak alone, but with many, they become a pillar which supports them. Religion is a catalyst for that support and should be regarded highly for that. What i'm trying to point out has nothing to do with the history or teaching of ones religion but people from all different backgrounds and histories gathering together seeking refuge under a pillar of support, not by god or religion, but other people.

Like I said, I am not religious nor am I an atheist. I am indifferent, but I believe that a gathering of people, strangers, a community is a beautiful thing.

-Edit-

I think it's safe to say that if there ever was a hell, I go travel down the depths of it for I would rather be eternally punished than to be in a Westboro Baptist Church Heaven.

Does that mean we should stop watching videos of really cute cats?
