not having college class until 10 am is awesome. Only problem is college stuff is expensive.

I personally preferred waking up early and having three straight classes from 8:30-11:20 and then getting out, eating lunch, and having the whole day ahead of me to do whatever.

Lets see.

Went to college, enjoyed some classes, started skipping because I didn't have anyone watching over my back, eventually just quit. Moved out, worked a bunch of full time jobs, hated them all, and my life. Quit all my shitty jobs, moved back in with my parents and at 26, I'm now going back to University full time. It sucks I'm 26 and only a sophomore in College, but I realized without College you really can be stuck in life.

Although I'm 26, my reentry to college is fast approaching, and I gotta admit, I am feeling very nervous.

I graduated this year too! Congrats to our 2012 graduating year!
& to your question about life after college I'm scared/nervous/confused/ etc!!!!

I'm off to community college this fall and well I'm quite nervous! I have no idea what I want to study!!!!
I'm so lazy and I don't want to choose a hard career!
I dont have a passion for anything, or at least I've yet to discover it.
I need help...;(

dont worry and stress about college life. just be calm and focus on completing yur college work. things are going to be different at first but in time yu will get used to it. i got used to it during the first 2 months of college my first year. just dont slack off on yur college work and put alot of effort and yu will be fine.

As for yur career, yu will eventually find a career that yu would be interested in studying. could be criminal justice, pharmarcy technician or something else. find a career in which yu like and most interested in. luckily i decided to have a career in criminal justice when first entered college. not everyone has a career decided yet. so take yur time and think about it and eventually yur career will come to yu. Have some MOTIVATION in yurself!!

Thanks for the motivation. & I'm actual planning on taking intro to criminology to see whether it's right for me. My brother is in the academy right now and is why I'm thinking about it. I also originally decided to study for pharmacist, but I feel like it wouldjust be so much work. If I'm going to put in so much effort in this profession I might as well go for something more. I was also thinking of bioengineering/materials engineer, but again it's just seems like to much work. I just graduated high school and I don't want to go in having to work so hard on anything. I'm really lost on what career path to choose. I'm also quite interested in space, and was also thinking of going in the field of astronomy. I would choose this profession, but research online shows that there aren't man job prospects for this field of work. If I want a chance at a career in this field it looked like I would have to earn my Phd. That definately is to much work for me. To top that all off im going to need to transfer too a 4-year university & pay for the rest of school! It all just seems like so much to me.
I wish I knew what field I wanted to commit too.

Yur welcome. glad to help. and yur planning to study criminology is like the same when i chose criminal justice. my brother went through police academy and currently a deputy sheriff for the county i live in. so i decided to do similar my brother did and follow his steps. yu have to know that any career is not going to be easy. every career has there challenges and have different amounts of work and effort yu have to put into. since yu just graduated high school, i know how yu feel because i went through the same situation a year ago when i first entered college life. but somehow i got used to college work and alot of effort to finish the college work i have to do. watever career yu chose to enter, yu must know yu have to put alot of work into it to be successful. Thats a goal every college student want in their life: to be successful in their career. for now just concentrate on college work that is coming towards yu and in time yu will find the right career that would interest yu and want to be successful in.

Thanks again. You've been a great help. You've got me thinking, and I'm sure in time I'll find my path.

Hey guys! I graduated from high school this year and those of you who also graduated or have been out of high school, how does it feel to y'all?

Felt like getting out of federal prison. I would say my highschool was overrun with gangs, but it wasn't plural, it was claimed entirely by one very specific gang and neither the cops or the feds ever managed to put a dent in them. It was a screwed up environment. If you weren't in an advanced placement class, it was almost guaranteed that half the girls sitting with you were either pregnant, or already had a kid.

This comment was *computer generated with stunt actors* so here is my breakdown of my life after high school

Overall, Life after highschool..unless you're extremely lucky and still get to be babied by your parents - this is the time where you learn to become an adult if you haven't already. You'll learn the value of money and if you haven't yet..a meaning of life. your life.

For me, I haven't "found" love yet :(
or have a stable career going for me yet, but I've learned a lot and I can honestly say I'm a better person than who I was before. Took things for granted but now I cherish most everything and everyone close in my life right now; I would pick being piss broke and poor but still have my family and close friends over being a rich multi-millionaire and be alone.

my best advice is to do what you can to find out what you want to do in your life, whether it be some dream vacation to japan and get your nerdgasm on in akiba or to be able to be financially successful and be able provide for yourself or want to be a cook/chef. Whatever it is, don't rush too much- do your best to think it through and it's better to have tried and fail than to not try and regret for the rest of your life cause life is too short. I'm not saying go out there and do drugs to satisfy your curiosity, i'm on the line of doing whatever it is to make you happy as long as you're not hurting yourself or others; it's not always going to go the way you want but gotta be able to learn to roll through and move forward through bad and good.

Well, it took me two years but after getting a full time job and promptly realizing I'm not built for that kind of garbage I have decided to go to college so I can do a less horrible job. Life sucks, it sucks hard and luckily I realized it before I passed the point of no return.
