It was mid day on the Mediterranean side of the world, people were buzzing about throughout in a small town of Italy. The day was bright and the weather was fair, citizens were out doing what needed to be done. Men were working, women were working either at a job or at home, boys were at school with the exception of few upper class girls, and girls were at home with their mothers learning about how to be the perfect house wife. All aware but unaware of the danger that was about to strike. Towns with ports especially know of the danger but go about anyways thinking "It will never happen to me! What are the odds?" and they pay for that ignorance. Soldiers, a bit more aware of the threat that comes from the seas, think "If it happens we will be able to stop it!" and they too pay for their ignorance. This small town by the sea side will finally pay for such ignorance for a rumble comes from the seas. A rumble of a treacherous foe of the seas. In this time the seas are never safe, not when there are pirates about and these pirates are so monstrous that the sailors and the children of sailors have sang eerie tunes of their deeds and such. Yes, they sing songs of a crew that have dragged themselves from the deepest pits of hell to ravage the land, the wooden boards are bloodied from their countless supply of victims, they hang traitors by their masts, and the ship screams a thousand cries of the slain. A little orphan boy in the city sings such a song quietly to himself as he walks through back allies in order to get to his destination, the shore. There he climbs upon the sea rocks hunting, for what no one knows. Until his gaze fall's upon that which frightens him. A ship in the distance with a flag waving high on its mast. A familiar flag that has been seen by many across the European shores, and with it brings terror. The boy runs quickly shouting warnings in Italian. Soon after a panic takes hold, the warning bells are sound, and a raid will soon begin....

The pirates of the Crimson Moon are a rambunctious crew but they are not as horrifying as the citizens imagine. They are relentless and know how to get what they want. The Captain with his long reddish blonde hair and crimson red over coat is a reserved but is very overprotective of his crew. It makes it his top priority that no one is left behind in a raid, and he has made it clear to his crew that he wouldn’t tolerate such actions of abandonment. In all his raids he has protected all of his crew with his swords, being a powerful swords master has given him this ability and he does not take it lightly. Not only does he care for his crew but he remembers every one of them and all of their skills like it were his own home. In his case, they were his family and this was his home, so in reality it makes sense. He goes about the ship sternly, giving out orders, preparing for their raid. The boat sways with an uneasy bay but that does not shake the crew for they have been used to the sea's dance ever since they can remember. A shouting comes from the top "Captain! Fifteen miles till we hit the docks!" it came from a dark haired girl, the captain knew her from his past. A long haired dark brunette by the name of Samantha, her eyes lie to you! They may appear soft and innocent but in actuality they are sharp....and deadly. She has proven herself time and time again not only trough her skills in the crow nest but as a sister as well. The captain looks to the right of the lower deck and finds a little girl laughing and conversing with one of the cabin boys. The little girl looked much like her older sister, long brown hair tied into pigtails. Hers were exceptionally longer than her older sisters and her eyes did not lie. Soft and ever so caring are her eyes, as is her entire being. She is a good cabin girl who the captain takes pity on, and her name is Minnie. The cabin boy she was speaking to was a tad older than her but equally as innocent. A brunette with dull brown eyes that showed the horror of his past, but his smile and ability to enjoy his life at that very moment showed how strong he was. What someone couldn’t tell from merely looking at the lad was the fact that he was deaf. Somehow, he had mastered the art of reading lips and body language, making him useful in eavesdropping from a distance. The captain continues to check his crew, turning around he meets with his navigator at the wheel. A man of a dark and frightening air about him, making him look like a pirate of stories, but he was far from it. He was every bit as kind and compassionate as a mother should and as chipper as a carefree school boy. The scares on his skin would suggest a poor life, however, and he did avoid the subject. Very important that Narsi is, plotting excellent courses and saving the crew precious seconds for escapes and such. It was no secret he enjoyed his position on the ship, catching the captain’s eyes and grinning proudly as he shares his last minute ideas for the raid. He continues onward to the lower deck and stumbles, almost trips over, a younger man. He instantly recognized who he had bumped into the instant he heard the stutters and shimmering blues eyes staring up at him. He was a man, but his height and personality fail in proving so. A nineteen year old who's mind was a complicated thinking machine that never took a break. This young man went by a nickname rather than any actual name, it was Flint. Yes flint, flint as in the stone used to start fires in the woods, was his name. Flint flails about in hurry to pick up his schematics and when he gets them all back into his arm's he runs off without a moment’s notice. He was a strange one, but could lighten the mood in tense situations and the captain liked having someone like that aboard his ship. Not only that but he was the ships carpenter and was a necessity on his ship. The captain of the crimson moon was a lucky captain indeed, he believed to have the best crew he could ever have and the best family too. He and his crew onward....so the raid can begin.

When the Crimson Moon finally reached gun point the firing of cannons and guns began to echo throughout the city. The captain and most of his crew were in dinghy’s rowing onto the beach, some of the members were standing or squatting in the small boats and were shooting at anyone that would get in their way of reaching the beach. Once they reached the sand the captain and his pirates began storming the beach, unsheathing their weapons, ransacking houses, killing soldiers and men that got in their way. The captain forbidding that children or women be harmed unless drastic actions needed to be taken. The captain stays focused watching his men leave his side to "collect" and "pursue" killing many soldiers that are on the defense. The captain eventually meets his own opponents and he brings his two swords down upon them, cutting them all down. Unaware that he is about to be attacked from behind, and as he turns to see a raised branded sword above him the solider is shot down by a harpoon arrow. He only knew one person who used such a weapon and that was the crew's translator Elle. A feisty woman she is, not only is she smart, knew how to steal, and strategize, but she knew how to fight too. She was a very good asset to him even if she was a she. She says something snarky and the captain turns red from embarrassment. He notices an advance though and pulls out his gun. His bullet shoots past Elle's head and into the skull of a solider about to kill Elle from behind. The captain smirks and leaves Elle to pout in her dismay. They both go on though, raiding the town separately throughout the day. At one point, the Captain ran into a young, sophisticated lady with bright orange hair and glimmering, dusty blue eyes. Her clothes suggested that she was of noble blood, one of class close to a king’s family. She stared at the captain, dumbfounded for a moment when a soldier decidedly grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her behind him. The foolish soldier then held a sword to the captain’s face while shielding the young lady with his other hand. He wasn’t about to let a pirate lay a single finger on the unknown and mysterious woman; however, he felt uncertain what to think when the captain smiled and folded his arms. The next moment the soldier found the young lady’s hands around his wrist and forearm with a grip of what he absentmindedly estimated as ten grown men. He felt his feet quickly leave the ground and his head crashing back onto the stone road. His helmet caved in, giving him a head wound and knocking him out but not before he saw the captain leave and the young lady tearing a weak door from its hinges. She was a pirate in constant disguise; a lady by the name of Gregory. After hours of raiding and murdering the sun begins to lower behind the mountains. The captain takes notice of the sun's new found placement and begins his way back to the beach. He fires a flare into the sky, signaling his pirate crew to return to the ship with the valuables they had collected. They all come to him, one by one, carrying and pulling bags of loot and crates of supplies. Their ship is now docked and secured in the port; all the soldiers had been pushed back to the outer back ring the city. The captain stands by the docking ramp, counting heads that make their way up into the boat with new valuables. Once the crew got the raided materials on the ship for Spencer, a redheaded young man, to keep track of and themselves on the ship they take off back to the seven seas. Leaving behind a burning and destroyed Italian port town behind them....

Later that evening the captain is where he always is after a raid, in his quarters. Near the end of the day he secretly writes in a private journal that he keeps to reflect on. He sits at a glossy mahogany wood desk that is neatly organized with his nick knacks and important documents. The captain is sitting hunched over his desk writing away. He is in casual wear, chocolate brown pants and a white shirt with the loose long sleeves rolled up to just bellow his elbow. He is appears to be finally relaxing after a long day...

Dear Journal,

We had a successful raid today. The sun is setting and the goods have been safely put into storage. Now my crew will feast on a fresh meal made by our only cook Dune. A silent man with a wise mind, in a way we all seek advice from him and in this way he could be seen as a fatherly figure. He is a good man and a good cook. I will always be happy to have him with us. I was saved by Elle today! Of all the people it had to be Elle! She shouts "Getting rusty old man!?" after harpooning a cowardly man who tried to kill me from the back. I got even though, she made the same mistake I did and let her guard down. I saw the man creep up behind her and I shot him down! Getting even with Elle is like sweet honey....tasteful. Just as tasteful as the moment where a man was decieved by Greg's high class womanly looks; that was a real treat as well. Oh...they have started singing. I can hear my merry crew outside my quarters; those hooligans must be drunk already.

The captain pauses in his reminiscing and leaves his desk and journal to take a quick peek outside. It his much darker now, the sun was finally setting on the horizon and a few specks of star light was starting to take their place in the sky. A dark skinned girl by the name Raizel was feverishly playing her violin while a mossy-haired lad watched disapprovingly, shaking his head. The others seemed to enjoy her hearty tunes, but the lad, Fievel would disagree strongly. His accordion playing was well-liked, but the crew found his criticisms against dear Ray annoying and repetitive. They knew Ray didn’t mind, though, and she would always ruffles the lad’s feathers. Eventually the two would settle on playing together, which was the greatest thing musical wise, on the ship. Fievel was already getting out his accordion so he could play for the crew while they ate. After seeing this he shuts his door and quickly returns to his Journal.

I just took a peak outside, I have lost track of time Journal. They are celebrating without me right now and I honestly don’t want to miss being with my crew this time. Fievel and Rai look looks as if they will be playing for us tonight. I think I will count our winnings before bed instead of during the celebration. We seem to have gotten alot maybe I will ask Gregory to help me.....maybe. Good night Journal.

_When the Captain, Jeremy, finally left his room to join his crew in merryment Raizel and Fievel were in a heated battle of the tunes. Everyone enjoyed the noise they made, dancing, laughing, or drinking with their friends close at hand while only a few of them took responsibilities of the ship. Harlan was sitting atop a barrel beside his older brother, Rocky, whom looked simply like an older version of the deaf child. After a few seconds of listening to the song Raizel and Fievel played, he turned to his younger brother and signed to him what song it was. The cabin boy gave a smile at the memories he had of the song. Then, on Rocky's signal, the deaf began to sing in perfect harmony with the song, doing nothing of the ordinary for the crew of the Crimson Moon.
_Gregory, the lady of the ship and trusted First Mate of Captain Jeremy, made her way carefully through the crowd with a mug of rum in each hand. Dodging a flash of blonde swinging from a rope about the ship's mast, she warned, "Careful, Amy!" The wild child merely shouted back in excitement and disappeared into the moon's shadow. After shaking her head with a light chuckle, she walked up to Jeremy and held a mug at polite distance for him. "Hello, my Captain. If I had not been here since the start of this little get-together, I would say this crew is, well, already drunk. Most have barely finished their first." Above the two, Narsi was once again steering the ship, hoping someone would take his place soon so he could have fun.
_"Anyone want to switch, yet?" he called, recieving loud laughter as a response. He sighed and mumbled, "Jerks..." A lad of gray hair bounced excitedly next to him, asking, "How about me?"
_"No, Mack! I'm not stupid. I'm not letting you take this wheel ever again!"
_"Geez, crash the boat one time..." Mack grumbled as he walked off.
_Narsi called, "Somone keep an eye on him! Don't let him get a lick of the good stuff!!"

"I'll make sure of it! I wouldnt let the blowhard anywhere near the rum Narsi! Not after the time he almost burnt the ship down all dizzied up." The watch girl Samantha calls back down from the mast. "You hear that Mack! I got mah eye on you!"
Jeremy could hear Mack say something obscenly back at her and in the instant they immediately began the usual verbal fight, but most of it was drowned out by the rest of the noise that came from the ship. Jeremy found all of this peaceful enough to smile happily back at the blonde lady infront of him. "Ah, thank you. Hahaha I'm so used to all this commotion I could sleep to it." He laughs taking his mug of rum. "I'll take the wheel after me firs-" Jeremy was cut off by a playful little shove. He almost looses his balance and his rum but thankfully for him he caught himself before such a thing could happen. He turns to see the shove was from the mischevious little Elle he had ran into earlier that day.
"Dont worry bout it Capp'in, I'll take over for our poor little Narsi today." She tells him with a sly grin.
"Hahaha, I dont know if I should be thankful or worried." He chuckles taking a huge swig of his rum.
"Maybe both..." Elle coos lowly before walking off to the upper deck. "Naaaarsi, go have some fun!" She calls to him.
"Well, I need to have a chat with Drake anyways, I wonder where he is....do you think he locked himself up in his room again Gregory?" The captain asks her.

_"Yes...!" Narsi replied excitedly, pumping his fist in the air. He ran down the same stairs Elle was taking up, meeting her halfway and grabbing her in a tight hug. "Thank you, Elley!!" He spun around and placed her back on track then continued down the stairs like a child on his birthday. He called to the other side of the boat, "Wayne! Prepare a mug for me, please!"
_"I better, you seem calmer when you've had one or two," an old salt replied to him with a grunt. He was without a doubt the oldest member of the crew by drastic years. Although he was Captain, he demanded the most respect for his experience with the sea, and he had earned it so. When the Captain called orders and someone doesn't hear or ignores, Wayne is there to give harsh shove to remind the crew member his place and who was in charge, Jeremy. He rolled his worn-out eyes as Narsi came up to him, and he, since he decided to guard the barrel of rum, poured Narsi a mug. Handing the mug to the navigator, he showed his kinder side for the party, "Now go get drunk, ya nutty man-child!"
_"I wouldn't be surprised, My Captain," Gregory replied softly, taking a dainty sip of her rum. "Even on a crew of outcasts he still prefers to isolate himself from the rest. I haven't seen him attend one of our littler get-togethers for a long while." She took another sip then gave a polite alternative that she and Jeremy knew would be a bit of a wide-shot. "Or he could just be tired from today." Flashing a small smile, she shrugged her shoulders at the possibility. She quickly turned her answer short once more, "Either way, I do believe he's in his room." After taking yet another sip from the rum, she hiccuped and blushed, placing a gloved set of fingers on her lips. "Excuse me."

"ahah...I hope he doesnt do that again." Danielle mumbles dustin herself off. "I hate being man handled..."She grumbles quietly to herself as she takes hold of the wheel and continues to head straight, its not like it mattered where they were going now. Infact they could have just anchored for the night. Elle racked her brain for an answer and she finally remembered why they always kept moving. If they were anchored and another ship, pirate or a government ship, then they'd be sitting ducks. Elle disliked that even more, but she did love a good fight. Elle sighed as she kept the wheel steady and wished that someone would save her from the borefest of having to steer. Just someone to talk to would be enough....

meanwhile Jeremy was continueing his convorsation with his first mate Gregory regarding a certain doctor on the ship. "Yes I have noticed that he has become distant in the past month....infact...I havn't spoken with him for almost the entire month because he's either locked away in his room or in his office. I never took the initiative to actually go down to his office and see how he was doing. Im sure there's one person who has though and that's Minnie....I wonder if Minnie knows what's wrong with him..." Jeremy seemed to have drowned out his surroundings a bit as he thought about his doctor, Drake. Drake has always been.....difficult to handle. He is always in a bad mood and when he drinks his temper rises astonishingly high to the point that he would wreck his own office or attack an innocent bystandard. The next day the victim wouldn't say a word about what happened and always told me not to bother him about it. I've been ignroing the issue for sometime but what if he seriously hurts someone? A doctor shoul- a distinct hiccup distrupted Jeremy's thoughts and pulled him back into the world around him. He looked down at the blushing woman beside him and he smiled; his worries were pushed into the back of his mind and he focused on what was infront of him. "Your excused...," He says softly to her, "I was incorrect before by the way...Minnie wouldn't know athing about Drake....I've been thinking about confronting Drake about his problem. I remember that only a few weeks ago he stabbed someone's hand with a fork.....as Captain I'm supposed to protect my crew, even if it's part of the crew that's the problem. It makes the decision alot harder...." He pauses waiting for Gregory's reply when he feels a tug at his right pant leg and hears a quiet little girl voice answer him instead.
"Maybe you should just try talking to him about it sir....before you really decide anything." It was none other than Minnie, Jeremy's only cabin girl.
"But he wont tell me...you know that Minnie..."
"Well you should try right? Shouldn't he try Gregory?" Minnie insisted looking up at one of her few female role model for help.

_Gregory nodded at the small girl, “Yes, when dealing with someone you rather keep a positive relation with, you should always try making peace with them first. In this case and most, that means just talking to him, My Captain.” With a gentle smile and chuckle, she added, “But that doesn’t mean you should be firm when speaking of his ill behavior. It’s not appropriate, no matter what reason he has, and he should know that one way or another.” She understood Jeremy had a job, a position to hold up in his crew, and she felt that, in a way, it was part of her role as an advisor to help him make a decision that would also help him stay in that position. Sometimes it was comfort, though, that there were people who agreed with her line of thinking, no matter the age or gender. She gave a friendly wink at Minnie.
_From the other side of the ship, Raizel was getting cramps in her fingers from play for so long. She held on through the next song before announcing that she was taking a break. The immediate response she was given was a group of “aw”s then Fievel laughing, “Too much for your little girly fingers?”
_”You watch what you say on this ship,” Raizel grinned slyly. “And you’re one to talk; you’re still going because you started five songs after I did. Who wants to bet a gold piece he gives out before then?!” From the rum, Wayne answered heartedly, “Hah hah…I’ll take that bet!”
_”As you pirates say…You’re on,” Fievel replied, narrowing his eyes. Waving her hand at him, Raizel blew a raspberry and walked away as she placed her violin back in its case. As the small group of pirates made bets while Fievel began his next song solo, Ray made her way up to the wheel where Elle was steering. She propped her violin case against the wall in front of the wheel then sat on that same wall, making sure she wasn’t hindering Elle’s vision.
_”Hey, girl, brains leaking out of yer ears, yet?” she smirked. “At least it’s nice out, tonight.”

"So....be soft is what your telling me? Im not particularly fond of this so called "male bonding"....but if you say to do it then I'll try my hand at it." Jeremy agreed to his adviser's wishes.
"But you can be soft....you soft around the girls right? I notice when you talk to me or Gregory." Minnia mentions looking up at him.
"Well, see, that is because you are a child. I cant help but be soft with a small female child. Besides if I was hard on you that wouldnt be good for your health. Drake has instructed us to be gentle around you so we wont stress you out. Doctor's orders hm?" Jeremy sighed with a smile and a shrug.
"......what about Gregory? Whats her reason?" Minnie asked.
"T-that's enough Minnie, heheheh, um...why dont you go see what Harlan and Rocky is doing," He chuckles becoming a bit nervous with the young girl then adds, "Why dont you go see how my friend Mortimer is doing? He could always use the company no doubt."
"Mmnkay..."Minnie smiles up at him and skips off to find the tall blonde man known as Mortimer.
"Um...kids these days." Jeremy turned to his first mate shrugging. "Well, I'll be off....inless you want to come with incase I screw up?" He asks her.

"Im not bored enough to have my brains spewing out of my ears just yet. I dunno why the hell I agreed to this." The right corner of Elle's lips curled up into a smirk as she responded. The reason for it even she didnt know just yet. "but your right ya know, it is nice out tonight. I might sleep here tonight and get a good look at the stars." she admits to Rei. There was a low grumble that emmited from Danielle's stomach and she frowned. "what is taking Dune so long with dinner tonight..." she groans.

_”It never hurts to have aiding company, My Captain,” Gregory replied with a tight smile. “And as you said yourself, it’s not one of your strong points… with males, at least, and I understand.” She looked down at her mug of rum, still more than half full with the liquid goodness. She stated mostly to herself, “I shouldn’t put this to waste… but I can’t simply… chug it down!”
_”If I may be so bold, dear Gregory,” a shadow-like figure stated as it bent slightly to brush its chin on the lady’s shoulder. He stood on the opposite side, tall enough to do so, pointing at her mug. “I could take that off your hands~”
_”Narsi, have you been eavesdropping?” Gregory scolded him lightly.
_”You didn’t mind that Minnie did it,” he whined quietly then chuckled, standing up straight. “I suppose I was, but you two weren’t really whispering.”
_”Hm…” she eyed him for a moment. He took the mug from her hand with care and explained, “If you drink this whole mug yourself, you won’t be able to help good ol’ Captain here talk to Drakey. N-not to be rude, but you can’t really hold your liquor, Gregory dear. You’ll get all giggly, again.” He took a glug of the mug, watching Gregory cross her arms but unable to stop herself from smiling. “I on the other hand am able to hold five of these babies before feeling an effect.” As he walked away, Gregory called after him.
_”And just how many have you had so far?”
_”This is my third, I swear!!” he called back, walking backwards with his hand over his heart. Shaking her head with a sigh, Gregory glanced at Jeremy and said kindly, “Well, let’s hurry along then.”

_”I know, right?” Raizel groaned. “I’m starving! But maybe it’s something good tonight, ya know? To celebrate and whatnot our latest bounty! We got a lot today, and it was fun, and no one hardly got hurt! On our side, at least.” She gave an uncanny cackle, slapping her right knee and nearly slipping off the wall. “Whoa! That wouldn’t be good. Pfft…” She covered her mouth to stop from laughing again.
_”Raizel, don’t fall on us now!” Rocky shouted from below, waving his hand at her.
_”I won’t, shut up!”
_”How much have you had to drink?” Rocky’s voice paused for a moment. “Ha! Harlan’s putting his money down for six!”
_”It’s none of your business!” Raizel snapped. She turned back to Elle and whispered loudly, “I lost count anyway!” Then raised her voice a little again, “How about you? Had any yet?”

After her little dispute from out the crow's nest Samantha was looking down upon her shipmates having a good time, she was one of the few that hasn't had a mug of rum yet and she so dearly wanted one. The problem was that she didn't want to leave the comfort and security of her nest, of the ship's crow's nest. In a way she was much like Drake and Mortimer, she was uncapable of socializing with others. Unlike the other two she didn't want to be isolated, she was sick of being isolated from people and the world. She wanted to have friends and be with the crew but she was to insecure and scared to do anything about it. She looks down at her little sister Minnie who was smiling and laughing with the crew and she barely knew much of what the older folk even talked about. I wonder how she does it....I want to be like you Minnie... Samantha thinks to herself mustering up the courage to leave the confines of the crow's nest. She takes a deep breathe and throws her body over the side of the nest and begins to climb down to the deck; as she did so the confidence continued to build up high to the point that she felt like she could feel comfortable in any situation. It quickly dispersed though as soon as her feet touched the rough dank wood of the lower deck and she frooze in place.....

Minnie after conversing with a few people began her search for Mortimer since it was her captain who requested her to do so. Unfortunately after asking around she realized how hard it was to
