What makes it jump up and give your throat a lump?(When you can't talk) What terrifies you to the point your chest/heart immobilizes you? When your heart drops, it could be due to an anxiety/panic attack. Maybe you just broke up, and feel the pain in your chest? Or you have to make a presentation but you have the spotlight fear. Or someone played a mean scary prank on you, nearly scaring you to death. To Mods: Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Feel free to delete if such a post already exists, I found one that was sort of similar...What scares you/deepest fear? but does it make your heart pump at 220bpm? So...I was on the computer, writing a report...That's sadly due tomorrow, or today at 8am, haha All of a sudden- internet goes out, lights go out, house loses power...Total darkness. I see shadows outside (Oh, it's almost 1am here) and my heart just drops, then starts pumping fast, I poop brix. No kidding, I sprint upstairs like a coward...lock my self in, and get my cellphone... Well, about 5 minutes later, power has returned. Wonder what the electric company was doing... So, that little scare made my heart drop... What makes your heart drop/race?

I was preparing for a job interview and went to take a shower and the pip for some reason made a very loud sound and woke her up. She jumped and bad a really bad sound and was limping, and I was so lost on deciding to take her to the Hospital or waiting it out till the next day. But that 20 mins of debating in my brain.. choosing my job I always really wanted or take right away this monster. But I called and they allowed me to do the interview with her on my lap. And now she comes to work with me everyday and she didn't have any injury its just a minor scare after my vet completed the physical. But everytime a little thunder or some kind of sirens noise its like now im wired to look for my dog.

If you go to my profile you can see pics of all my little monsters. All of them are rescues, even the turtle. I volunteer for a couple of different animal charities including the Humane Society. Nothing gets my heart pumping with anger more than seeing some of the abuse people put animals through. And nothing will put a lump in my throat as quickly as a story about some animals fight for survival and coming through it the sweetest little companion for someone. But there is also the bad side of it, that puts the pain in my chest, when a critter doesn't make it. Sometimes I just want to cry when I get home but I help the ones I can. Oh, and when the washer is really unbalanced and the whole damned machine starts jumping and it sounds like someone slamming a car into the house repeatedly. After the initial sprint and hurtle jump to assist the problem, the overdose of adrenaline promptly makes me feel like my heart's gonna explode and my body's gonna melt to jelly.
