Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?

I don't see it happening at all. They have a nice imagination at Microsoft.

Its amazing it makes me smile so much.. Never doubt human progression!
I know at my job we have a similar task board and recorder but i'm so curious about that synthetic paper at the end. If that replaces newspapers that would be amazing. And in my own home I have my phone synced with my front door and garage and air condition. It would be awesome if it could tell vitals stats thats happening in the house. Carbon Dix levels, maybe tell you if you left your stove on, its so cool, and might save a lot of homes and lives... without the gross expensive security systems. Next up wireless Electricity... |

These kinds of innovations are frightening. I'm not oppose to them but the revelation of such technology makes me wonder how much the world will change. It seems to simplify life too much that humans will be replaced in several fields. Much like the conversation in the beginning between the children, it seems likely that the human race will be dumb down -- there wouldn't be a need to learn a second language to communicate if such advance machinery come forth. What will we do in life if the machines fail us?

Nope, I don't see it happening.
...and in the year 2000, I was promised flying cars. Also, imagine the costs of living like this...You'd have to be in the top 1percent. I better land a good job when I graduate. |

it could happen, technology has advanced faster than we think. it's possible, but there are to many lazy people and probably won't happen in 7 years

I'm just being realistic sis.
It's not about which company does it, it's how they're going to accumulate the funds and how many years it really is going to take to have such technology. Personally, I see this happening in Japan first before the US. |

I can actually see this happening. If you consider the progress we've made over the last few years, this is perfectly reasonable. Though some of the stuff strikes me as useless.

I better land a good job when I graduate. Not really. The computers we have today are godly compared to the computers from 20-30 years ago, and they aren't horribly expensive. In 5 years the computers will be even faster at the same cost, mark my words. Technology is only getting cheaper. |

I want none of that. plain and simple. If everything is like that I will move to Alaska and live with the Grizzly Bears just so my entire life isn't posted to facebook. However if they come up with that nerve helmet thing from SAO I'm totally in (even if it means being trapped inside of a game with my life on the line)
