Seems so cool! But yeah I agree with you I don't see this happening in the next 7 years :/ maybe 30?

In the future of 2019 all electronics will be made out of glass. Can't wait.

Sorry, this type of innovation is just an advancement of what we already have. I don't think I want to pay the fees to use half the features shown. Whenever/If ever these things are in use - will there be a middle class in the US?

However if they come up with that nerve helmet thing from SAO I'm totally in (even if it means being trapped inside of a game with my life on the line) Agreed! |

Back to the future promised us flying cars in 2015. Im not seeing MS' vision coming true,at least not for another 20 years.
Human innovation has slowed down these past 10 years. |

They said i could become anything,so i became nothing.

I'm pretty sure MS can better guess the future then HW.
How was innovation slowed down? We cured aids for one person, landed on mars, and not using vista anymore. |

I can imagine flying cars and the cure for cancer existing, but not a Windows without too many flaws.

While I can't really see most of that hardware being so widely available by that time, such as the cups, desks, and especially that newspaper; the majority of the software they have running is very much a possibility, in fact we already have some early versions of what was shown.
I don't really think it would be that ubiquitous in that amount of time (unless if they start like RIGHT NOW), but I can imagine some large businesses or some of the more technologically advanced cities like Tokyo having it. |

I just had one of the biggest nerdgasms of my life watching the first video
I can see part of it happening especially the paper thin displays and content sharing. As for the prevalence of that in every part of our society .... WAY too soon but it was still inspiring to see anyways. |

It's possible. Anything is possible, but wide spread use of that? I don't believe so YET. Remember this is a concept. I believe that if anything, those glass wall panels is already closer to being available as funnyginsan commented.
Things like the cup? i think it's highly unnecessary and the phone with breakaway pieces is ehh..but transparent bendable phones is feasible ie.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SegLUbBJDhA&feature=player_embedded#! BTW. We do have flying vehicles - just not for mass production or attractive design lol and flying cars..man i don't even want to think about teens learning how to drive-fly their first flying car, insurance companies will have "home hit by insured or uninsured flying car motorist coverages" lol and thunn thunn thunnn! flying car terrorism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=abrL9dCp6HU http://www.terrafugia.com/ vs the moller one |
