What's your favorite memory of hanging out with your dad that you can think of just after reading this?
So sorry for the ones who didn't have a dad or had an abusive one. Mom works too.
I was just watching a documentary of Bruce Lee on tv and i remember going to chinatown with my dad to watch kung fu movies in the theater there. haha. also i just went to hong kong recently, so it was pretty cool to see the bruce lee statue and check out Kowloon where he lived.

...*scratches head* hmmm father was always at work or at the bar...didn't live with mother...so I guess the next best thing was my uncle lol, we would always go out and do stuff and since we lived in Florida there was always plenty to do, my favorite's were going to Disney Quest (5 floors of free video games and other stuff, just gotta pay 40$ to get in) we would go bike riding at fort wilderness and swim there, we would go to Universal Studious and other parks/water parks.

It would have to be when he took my older brother and I out on Saturdays when we were young...I have a lot of fond memories from that. My parents separated when I was quite young so I hardly had a chance to see him so when he picked us up, those days were golden for both me and my older brother.

My dad is and has always been a complete asshole, life would have been better (mostly) without him. I have no fond memories.

Well, there was one time when I was being beaten-up by a gang outside my house, and my dad ran out and close-lined five kids and threw one in a bush. That kinda made him my hero. My other favorite was we went hiking, and my dad pitched his tent in such a way that when it rained over-night his tent slid down the hill, and so in the middle of the night we all heard him panic and start going: "I'm sliding! I'm sliding!.... help!.... Oh god!.... Goodbye world ...." at like 4am. It was really funny, especially because of his accent, and when he suddenly went "goodbye world" in a sad, defeated voice at the end, we all died laughing.... Later it turned into an inside joke when he would back out of the driveway one of us would whisper "goodbye world."

I guess mine would be just hanging out with him, laughing and talking...? I don't have a lot of memories with him, but that's the best thing I could think of spending time with him.

My dad holding my hand when I was 6 or 7, walking with me to the parks and stores of Pioneer Square. It's strange, most of the time we spoke very little, but it felt like a lot was exchanged and shared between us.
